Protest the DRM by not buying it, Atleast until a crack comes out that stops the DRM, which is what I'd have to do... My internet isn't stable enough to do that, It hiccups all the time... Games are playable with short lag spikes often, and that's enough to put me out of AC2 for the PC
Great game though, I suggest to just get it for console

I was about to say how wrong you are (AC2 is a good game) but i forgot all about the awful DRM you PC users are thrusted with. I'm a console player and i say that's complete bullshit for you guys.
Even cracking it is letting them know that we would still buy the things if the crack was available. Don't give them that liberty, just don't buy it and see them lose money.
Buying it and cracking it still gets them money and they might think it was worth it.

I didn't buy it on a console, since it's [i]usually[/i] always better to get it on PC. Now, it doesn't really matter if I buy it on console or PC. If I buy it on console, I can't play HD (my TV's crap).
I ended up buying it on PC, a few minutes ago. I've been hyping this game since it was announced.
I pre ordered the black box thing last February, I hope it's worth it. :frown:

Just so you know, Ubisoft have back-tracked a little and have put together an update. It puts you back in the game exactly where you lost your connection. Still sounds like shit.

well at least they're trying. Although I found out today that they don't have plans to sell AC2 on steam to the UK but they're doing everywhere else which is a bit fucked up.
