Brand. Amazing hero, very cool, very balanced. If you play him just watch out, he has no escapes. Take ghost and flash. Don't try too much to save your ablaze for the stun in team fights, you probably won't hit the target you want. Initiate with the ult.

To be honest I would gladly miss out on the two next champion releases if Riot fixes all the major problems in LoL

It's all in your skill ordering. You gotta get MPen and your AP balanced. Then you its about using your skills in the right order. Initiate with your ult, let it bounce around. Use your e on a character that is ablaze, spreading ablaze around. Catch a group in pillar, triple kill because it just did 25% extra damage. Mop up with Q.
His passive does like 150-250 damage though

Would you recommend him? I need to learn an AP (There never seems to be a shortage of them in solo queue so I never got to learn one :saddowns:)
I definitely would. I forgot to mention his passive. It's utterly amazing early game, and late game it disintegrates tanks.
He carries well into late game. It's seriously all in how you utilize his skills. If you don't fire them in the most efficient order for the situation, you won't perform well. However if you can maximize his ablaze debuff, you will devastate the enemy team. I picked up 3 triple kills in the last game. You have to figure out which rotations of skills to use for maximum damage on an area, one target, or sustained time.

you don't "learn" ap. you learn like maybe 4 champs in all of LoL that are complicated and then you learn some jungle routes. the other ones you just play a few times. Get ryze he's 450 and easy and really good
Although brand is really cool if you want to burn 6300 IP on him
Looks like I'll be buying more MR in the future.
I'd say he's really more of a mid gamer. Early game he puts out decent harass, but he can farm pretty well. Mid game, once you have a decent amount of skill points invested, you start to do some fairly strong combos. He really does scale well into late game, and he doesn't have any mana problems/cooldown problems, especially if you pick up blue buff. This allows you to really get a lot more AP/MPen early. Plus his fucking dance/taunt is just amazing.
Won't do you any good really, he can stockpile magic pent since he has no need for AP over 500
