Did you actually tri-lane correctly, ie the carry gets all the xp + farm?

After there's a 2 level advantage the supports abandon the lane?

We did 2 games. One as Twitch, Xin, Ren. and one as Jax, Kayle, Ali.

Both worked real well. The other lanes held up nicely. First game Malz got fed somehow and Soraka kept healing everyone like a bitch. Second one we almost won but Trist got fed hard.

Yup.
There are several types actually.

1. Those what won't listen when you say AUTO ATTACK and keep on auto attacking. When they get ganked by the jungler they QQ and rage.

2. Those that actually listen, but plain out suck at last hitting.. :| So they shoot the minion 2-3 times because they shoot the minion too fast.

3. Those that listen when you tell them and actually last hit.
