Stun chaining and stacking CC heavy champs is biggest balance problem in this game. The team with more CC wins, as simple as that.

No it will win because it's tankier. Put Twisted Fate, Kennan, Veigar, Gangplank, and Annie on the opposing team. They have more hard CC. They're gonna lose.

WHY is CC so valuable? Because it lets you stop an enemy from acting so you can kill him before he can kill you. When tanky DPS gets CC'd but they don't die, they just get out and kick your asses and now your stuff is on cooldown, making it worse. If a tanky DPS team feeds earlygame they can make up for it by just drooling all over their towers till its lategame and the early advantage is gone and then they can just walk in to you and say "fuck the police" and proceed to win every teamfight. Tanky DPS has hard CC which they can actually USE because when they CC you they can actually kill you instead of just tickle you. CC a tanky DPS team and it's more like procrastinating the inevitable. CC is strong but tanky dps is stronger and far easier, and more often than not they come in the same package. By the team we hit late game and tanky dps has their items up, the stuns and amounts off cc we do may take off 200-400 health which we then get crushed. Aydin you're wrong.

Melee champs must be able to survive random pokes and die to focus fire (which is exactly how it is now). How else would you change them without turning them into glorified glass cannon yi's? And good luck being able to act as a team and do a 4 or 5 man focus anyway because you'll have half your team CC'd. You know who's a balanced example of tanky DPS? Olaf. Yes, Olaf. He has CC but it's a skillshot slow. He does good damage and survives well wit his itemization and ult but doesn't jungle GODLIKE or lane GODLIKE (he's a good jungler but he's no Udyr/Shaco). He doesn't have this Gap-closer into hard reliable CC bullshit that most of the problem champs do.

Lee Sin is actually a good balanced tanky DPS.
Yi's actually pretty decent last time I checked, too. So is olaf. So is Warwick. So is Shaco. So is Garen. So is Blitz. Morgana can be a pain, but she doesn't dish out the damage. Same with Kennan really, it's his stuns and then team that mop you up. He's easily focused out. Sion I'd agree with.
Those champs all have CC but the top row can pull of tankiness

I play sion, too. I feel that he's OP but I don't really know how to fix him.
I'd say make his stun scale into levels. Not 2/2/2/2/2. Maybe 1/1.25/1.5/1.75/2. Then take his shield and nerf its AP ratio on how strong the sheild is, not the damage, but the amount of fire it can take.

Considering riot anti-fun formula thats mostly how its going to be nerfed if it happens.
