People who hack, lack of dedicated servers, ETC. Just entered a game in MW2 yesterday... BAM! "Disconnected because of security problems" This is fine, 'cause when I'm looking at my stats I'm suddenly level 70 prestige 3 (I was level 40 that prestige before), and got a buttload of new titles and Emblems.. This just fucks me over, seriously, I didn't ask for this.. Fucking hacker.. But in the end, couldn't this have been avoided if I could choose my own server?
forgetting to quicksave, and having to start from the beginning.
Turn-based strategy games that give you a high percentage chance of victory, yet still your tank gets killed by a fucking longbowman. Yes, you, Civilisation 4.
When games give you tips during boss battles towards the end of the game.
People who say using snipers at close range is skillful (yeah freaking right) People moaning about things that help you in the game That tunnel at the end of ace combat 4 :argh: People thinking that graphics dictate how good a game is. (:wtc:) When on 2fort snipers ignore everyone else and only attack eachother.
In games like MOHAA where all NPC allies get killed off and you have to do everything yourself. I know it's supposed to be a lone wolf ranger commando game, but it just annoys me.
Quick-time event where a single miss cause instant death. Then you have to watch the cut scene all over again.
Difficult easy modes due to shit AI and lack of playtesting.
In Fallout 2 where your enemies gets the super luck shot when you're on lose health and kill you
Server admins.
They are annoying and unfair. For example, there is this course you have to drive or run or do, which takes 10 minutes which you do suprisingly well, but suddenly you crash into something and takes 3 seconds of your time. because of that you lose and have to drive 10 minutes again, and so on. Also for example you miss the fucking goal by 1 fucking second.
Whine whine whine, I like my racing games with no challenge too.
dieing.
A stereotype squad leader who yells your name all the time.
Players who go for kills instead of the objective.
Agree. My friends brag about going 50-8 on MW2 on Domination. I ask them if they went for the objective. They say "no, I just camped flag B." And I just keep thinking that they're a douchebag, yet everyone else think "that's awesome", or "that's what I do."
Camping everywhere up in this bitch. I hate MW2.
Waist high walls everywhere in shooters The line you can see on the environment that if you cross enemies will spawn (Killzone 2)
I understand when games create questioons, that is also good, and I also get when they dont fully answer the questions, that leaves it open, but like SW:KoTOR and fable 2, they just create loads of questions, and dont even answer the main ones, in fable 2, I chose to bring my sister back, and I get a note from her, and as far as I can tell, I cant see her again which is one of the main reasons I chose that wish, and in kotor there was some wierd message from Bastila that wasnt answered, among other things
Playing a co-op game where no one helps out or sticks together. For example: I was playing Escalation Mode on War For Cybertron (It's like a survival mode with some Nazi Zombie gameplay elements from COD: WAW) and instead of sticking together, my team insisted on opening every unnecessary door and splitting up. Rape soon followed in wave 4.
buy body armour after every damn mission. I looking at you gta...

Timed missions, the worst example being Atom Smasher hard mode in Timesplitters 2. Tons of aggressive enemies, snipers that never miss, and one of the hardest boss gauntlet events in the game. On top of all that, add five bleeding edge bomb timers and you've got the most cruel, insane mission ever created. Unfortunately, the unlimited ammo cheat and the final multiple map required the game be cleared on hard mode to unlock, so you HAD to complete Atom Smasher on hard eventually. Took me forever, but I eventually beat it a few times.
Whine whine whine, I like my racing games with no challenge too.
He's speaking in slight racing terms I guess. Most of us mean shooters, RPGs, and other games where you're bumrushed like all fuck to complete the objective(s) against large sums of deadly enemies and lots of obstacles with a timer ticking down in the background to your doom.
Wall's were you CAN'T see above but your head is showing.

[editline]10:32PM[/editline]
Players who go for kills instead of the objective.
that too. a fucking 9 year old was sniping right next to the bomb i just plant and fails to see the jackass sitting right in front of him defusing it. i yell at him, and he goes: "your just mad because your going negative." an example why i hate most of the communities on live games.
What game were you playing, codemaster?

I did not know what to do.

Some MAJOR things that bug me: Russians as main bad guys (BC 2 & MW2 & every game today) When all enemies are a from a certain country. (Crysis and darkSector both had all Korean and Russian enemies. When you kill an boss and find out that he was being controlled by someone else. When you have bosses in which you must do some objectives in order to kill. (Gargantua from Half Life Chapter Power Up.) When you have to save your game at save points. When a game has boring cutscenes. When you can't zoom fire weapons, even though they have sights. (Such as the SMG from HL2.) When you have go through levels that are one huge puzzle that don't fit in with the level. When a game is very linear. (L4D2) When a game is set in an over used or bad source material.(WW2) Games that don't let you kill Chinese soldiers. When a game has free roam but nothing to do (Wolfenstein.) Games where you can only have 2 weapons (or switchable weapons)(MW2) Games whose PvP suck but EVERYONE plays them ALL the time (MW2 & WoW) Games that don't have shotguns.
