Going to join FPEU today at 23.00 when the block to join a new clans has expired
I have an e 100 and i will have the e 50 m in a week or so
And salt to the wounds, I find a lonely enemy tank to circle around and blow to bits slwoly in my Chaffee, but an overly kind artillery of ours tried to save me the effort and promptly blew me up from nearly full health.
Just another day, I guess.

in all honesty i ground out 5k on the DB after researching the turret, tracks, and engine (with free xp for the latter) and couldn't do it anymore. I think i sold it to make money for the M48? Time to buy it back again..

The tank grows on you to be honest, 290 some games and I like it more than any other tier 7 Ive played (hell Ive played it more than any other tier 7). Its such an underdog.
I like it as well, in my opinion the main difference between the other mediums on tier 7 and the VK3002DB is its gun. High Alpha combined with good DPM is simply amazing.

None yet, though i wouldn't think many would be shared. Maybe some radios? Not sure. Especially since we're dealing with post war germany vs wartime germany.

Not sure if you have the top engine but its really important. Now 2 thins; if you use the 105 gold the tank looses all of its mobility but you can still do very well ( the DB become a very boring tank imo when you do this). The tricky bit is when you use the stock turret and L70, thats where the real fun starts, with that configuration, just try to flank (and I know this is what everyone says but its true).
Ive never been a big fan of the short 88 on the DB and never used it much to be honest, I think I did like 50% of my 120xp with the 105 and the other 50% with the L70. Ive seen freinds load all gold on the short 88 but..... why?

If that's true I can't really see why they would do that (the platoon thing that is, the TC thing make sense).

I doubt its that bad, gun wise the patton has less accuracy and aim-time.

I had thought of using the 105 a few times, but the DPM on the 8,8 was something that was sorely missed with the L/70. I plan on buying it back tonight, I'll try what you've suggested here.

That may be the case, but it has less DPM than the fatton. I'm sure soft stats will make up for most of it, but i was really hoping for the leopard to be a middle ground between the fatton and 62A in terms of DPM.

So, a few questions on the upcoming new German tanks.
Is the VK3002DB confirmed to be the starting point for them? I'm worried Wargaming will pull another HE shell ruse.
Are they going to be any good, or will they be par for the course in decent German tanks being awful because they fight things designed and built at least 5 years later?

Yes, very.
I personally think that, despite the lack of armour on the Leopard 1, it basically obsoletes the E-50M a bit because the gun has a somewhat higher rate of fire, it has gun depression, and also that the tank is also speedier. Armour is not massively vital for a medium, so I think this is...interesting.
All I can say is.. my HESH will be ready.
