It was a decrepit experiment by WG to see if they could implement a gold ammo only gun and get away with it.
Apparently, in 8.5, the AwfuPanther and maybe some other tanks gonna get the Konisch too, and they are giving the AP the standard 165 damage.
I wanna point out I just two days ago ground through VK3601 > VK3002 purely with Konisch, and I just shot ALL and PURELY prem ammo.
Hilarious results. By average I still broke even or lost a BIT of credits (with premium account, obviously), but I found myself 1v1 ing Tigers and ISs like nothing.

How come my framerate seems to be capped at ziltch? I can look at the sky, get 120fps, look at the whole map? 10 if I'm lucky. Lowest settings possible, highest possible, the framerates don't differ. Same exact framerates on 1 3.2ghz core as 4 cores, and on an HD 5750 and this HD7850. As if Vsync was on with an integrated card or something

The rendering engine is fucked up.
I for one am stuck with the "old" renderer, because there I get ~30-50 fps with 4x AA, max textures, models, view range, etc.
The "~new and improved~" renderer drops to ~15fps with no AA.

This tank is amazing. You DO need the top turret because it gives the 75mm a much needed RoF boost, but when elited, this tank rocks.
