Look let me put it this way, I have 2128 max exp.
How did I get this? I rushed center on himmelsdorf and got the first 7 kills of the game. I ended up with 11.
Yes, a large part of it is being amazing (and pz1c is amazing in tier 3 games and even in some 4/5), but it's also about getting BITCH LUCKY and finding the right retards to beat up.
This is essentially how I got my highest exp game of 2340 in the SuperPershing, I waded into a bunch of tanks and they were all too stupid to shoot at my weak points.

That's pretty much how all slow, well armored tanks works

My T95 mastery game literally involved the retards lining up for me to shoot

It's hilarious when it happens, some of them don't even move to flank. They just sit there trying to penetrate the front like something amazing is going to happen if they shoot my spaced armour.
Then again, they are pubbies. Guess I shouldn't expect anything less.
A lot of my mastery badges have just been the result of a nice round, where I happened to roll high and get lucky, being in the right place at the right time; not necessarily from the enemy team's stupidity, but that's certainly a contributing factor.

also for maximum exp your team should ideally be retarded too, only moving in when its convenient to you and/or to take the enemy's bullets
Himmelsdorf is the Pz 1C. playground. My heart starts pumping when I get that map. Again I just need that wee bit of extra luck and for my team to NOT cap.
Oh and the 1123 is the raw score. With my Premium it was 1684. Either way, I need to add like 300 before I'll feel like I'm in the 1% of the 1%
Okay let's lay it out.
For the maxest max exp rounds certain conditions must be met:
1) The enemy team must be retarded.
2) The friendly team must be retarded.
3) You must be in the right place, at the right time.
3.a) Slow tanks need to roll 1d100 for luck.
4) The bounce gods must not fuck you over.
Sound about right to everyone else?

Yeah there certainly is at least some luck involved, some of my higher scoring rounds have been from getting lucky with the dice and ammo racking someone that could have potentially killed me, or setting them on fire at the worst time.

6) Your team needs to not block or push you.
7) You need to have the diceroll gods let you hit the enemy and if possible ammorack/set on shit on fire.
8) You need to have enough shells to kill all the enemies or cap the base in time.
9) Preferrable matchmaking.
10) Shit artillery or no artillery.
8 in particular have fucked me over from time to time.
Like the 38t match I had once, were I fucked over most of the enemy team, but in the end I ran out of shells to finish off the last two, leaving us with a defeat.
Or the black prince match I had, were I killed 11 tanks as the last tank alive and almost ran out of shells at the end before I got killed by a kv1s.
Basically it feels like you got the same chance of getting the best match ever as winning the lottery.

Negative. Sometimes higher tiers just means more xp pinatas to whack.
- the official reason for fire extinguisher change is the elimination of autoclicker macros
- WG is still working with Nvidia to fix the Nvidia driver WoT crashes, Storm states he won't say anything more about that
- there are no plans to introduce the bunker-busting anti-concrete shells for the M-10, BR-2 and B-4 howitzers
- gun calibration (ranging shots) won't be implemented
- gun sights for the T-26 Russian tanks won't be upgraded (SS: the player apparently asked for accuracy buff, no idea why people ask such retarded questions)
- there won't be any credit compensation for people who bought tons of fire extinguishers, which now get changed
- complete destruction of the environment on maps won't be introduced, because the servers are not powerful enough to handle such a thing and it's not possible to do client-wise
- modern MBT's are not planned for WoT
- Storm says the game doesn't make the graphic cards overheat anymore than other games do, if you have such a problem, Storm recommends enablick V-sync
- Type 59 return to the store is not planned
- it's not yet decided, what exactly will happen to crew, camo and modules of the T-50-2, when it is removed from the game and replaced by MT-25
- platoon teamkills statistics are not examined by devs
- Storm states it is not unfortunately possible to create a program to check the mods ever cca 1 hour (checksum) in order to fight illegal mods
- the "new" fire extinguishers will be introduced at the same time as gold consumables for credits
- M18 Hellcat will NOT become a premium tank (SS: for some reason, every now and then RU forums start a rumor that *random tank* will become a premium vehicle, this rumor probably started when someone mistook the M18 and its 105mm howitzer prototype T88)
- SerB on the question why the PaK 43 (88 L/71) looks different on Tiger and on Panther II: "Yes, we'd like to make that gun into two different gun models, but the whiner part of forum would commit suicide if we did that"
- amphibious tanks are difficult to implement, according to SerB - they don't cause bigger client load directly, but in order to implement them, there have to be bigger maps, when those come, amphibs might come also
- there will be no special map-based MM ("You have no idea how much and what garbage was suggested...")
- press accounts can really select what maps they want to play, because their owners don't just play, they work and sometimes, they need a demonstration of exact maps.
- questions regarding the map statistics (for example the winrates, popularity etc. of respective maps) won't be answered by SerB, he noted they should be asked during some interview with specialised map developers
- SerB explains why there is no map selection yet (like you can select modes to play): "Well, and then one day 30 people will meet with different map selections each and the matchmaker will collapse. The result will be that all the battles will drop into 3-5 common cards."
- Q: "If only 3-5 maps would get played, doesn't that point at the fact other maps are bad?" A: "It points at the laziness of some players: even one with his 'favourite bush' could block 29 others from entering the map"
and "our conclusion is that some players are like Hobbits - 'they read only the well known books' - we don't intend to support such players"
- Q: "Is it true that the Sturmtiger is planned as tier 7 premium arty?" A: "What the hell?!?!?!?!" (SS: told you those "supertest tree screens" were a fake)
- Micromaus has special MM weight because of its characteristics
- LL Matilda shells (penetration, higher cost) are historical
- SerB likes to read War and Peace by L.N.Tolstoy
- the change of fire extinguishers is already decided, it's not however decided yet how effective will the Firefighting skill be
- apparently, the Prokhorovka assault is being re-worked
- the fact you can't issue orders or ping the map when chatbanned will not be changed
- PaK40 and PaK36(r) penetrations will not be changed, they are historical according to SerB (SS: some sources state that the PaK40 had better penetration)
- there will be no recoilless guns
- the effect of German interwoven suspension on German vehicle properties is already modelled properly
- Q: "In recent interview with H.Doyle, he mentioned there was not a single case repoted of fire caused by shooting the tank in the frontal part. Will the fires caused by shooting German tanks in the lower frontal armor be fixed?" A: "In Lord of the Rings, there was not a single mention of Aragorn's trousers (let alone underpants), which proves irrefutably: Aragorn is walking around butt-naked!"
- SU-85 with 100mm gun won't return
- KV-1S won't be split into more tanks
- Hetzer has a medium-caliber rammer even for the 105mm FH, because the rammer is a part of the vehicle, not gun
- D-25 gun will not be changed to resemble the 88mm L/71 accuracy
God damnit I just came to post those.

Depends on the tank.
Like with the pz I C you really don't want to face a team of matildas, kv1's and other targets that you simply can't reliably pen, even with apcr.
go fuck yourself serb
Ahahaha, I found that absolutely hilarious.
[editline]25th March 2013[/editline]
And, to add, he's completely correct, as well.
[editline]25th March 2013[/editline]
Off top of my head;
These were tests conducted by Russians on a captured Tiger II
"Shot #1. Target: upper front plate. Shell: 122 mm HE-fragmentation.
Result: spalling across an area 300 mm by 300 mm. The welding seam between the upper front plate and the machine gun port burst on 3/4 of its circumference. Internal bolts holding the machine gun ball were torn off. The welding seam between the upper front plate and the right side burst, and the right side was displaced by 5 mm. The tank caught fire internally."
AND THAT WAS AGAINST A TANK OF WHICH THE ENGINE WASN'T EVEN RUNNING. WITH A HE 122mm SHELL
So yeah, better stop crying about realism which you are wrong about, anyway, or they will make these things catch on fire with the first medium damage HE.
[editline]25th March 2013[/editline]
So it's safe to say mister Doyle simply doesn't know shit.

You guys like KV5s right? Right? Because I made a really small one :v:
And don't call Russian bias on me - I ground through Germans up to the E-100 and still actively play some of them, but there's no reason to remove frontal fires. They are balanced including them, and it's one of the funniest moments to have.
I've set a few tanks on fire, from the front, that were not German.
Type 59, Easy 8, and the KV-1 (only once) to name a few. So I don't think it's just German tanks.
But, if it is German, it's a lot easier.

where do you get these from, presuming they are self made. I bought a StuG III from airfix and it was awful
Stats are mostly copy of E-100, we will see how they gonna balance that thing.
I sorta feel like it will make E-100 absolutely obsolete, tho.
Just like M60 will make M48A1 obsolete :/
where do you get these from, presuming they are self made. I bought a StuG III from airfix and it was awful
Nah. It's a Flame of War model. That's the only non-$253 KV-5 model I know of.
I usually get 1/35 kits from Tamiya, Trumpeter, Hobby Boss, ect. Mostly from here.

Also, 235 pen at tier 10.
GLORIOUS GERMAN GUNS.
We already knew the gun is the same like on E-100.

Yummy.

And then the KV-5 was no longer the master of ramming. Not only does the VK7201 have 19 tons on the KV-5, it can go 3 km/h faster, 6 degree/second faster traverse.
