Seems par for the course for a tier 8 medium, that engine is probably stock.

So, I got back into this game and got myself a Panzer I C. This is a nice little tank. It's great for hanging back for a minute, waiting for everyone to become distracted in battle, then charging in and hitting all enemies with drive-by shooting.

I don't have nor have I played the T-34-2, but the WZ-132 is a great tank. If you have a 62A, the WZ-132 is a tier 8 version. Of course, it's still a light tank, a medium light tank but still a light tank. So, if you don't like light tanks, then you might be better off with the T-34-2.

It's entirely possible to play it like a medium (with no armor), but you get the nice camo bonus from it being a light tank, and the guns are actually better than some of the other mediums in its tier.

Being completely spoiled by the medium tanks I can't believe how slow this thing was. It's not much of a brawler either since the turret face and a good quarter of the glacis is pretty damn thin and when you're in any fight your armor is outdone by any next tank.

It has probably the worst armor I've seen on a tier 8 heavy, okay there's the 50 100 but that doesn't count.

To be fair, they probably either bought the actual blueprints for SU-27 or Russians sold them the jets well aware they gonna reverse engineer them.
