[QUOTE=Suicide Requiem;20580727]I wonder if people in this thread are stupid or just pretending to be? [editline]01:45AM[/editline] I'd disagree, games are art in the same was as movies and books are. You should go back to Crysis and MW2. [editline]01:47AM[/editline] No, you should stop whining and go play some MW2. [editline]01:47AM[/editline] Rated heart.[/QUOTE] You're making yourself look like fool. Oh ok, so if I don't enjoy this flash game, I'm automatically a culturally deprived person, who only screams "noob" on his mic in MW2. You, sir, do not know how to define art in games. This might have been some sort of example of it, but it was a rather bad one. I've played much better games, that are still masterpieces of art. You can't ditch gameplay, and then say "well, yeah it's supposed to be artistic, go play your FPS's some more, this is for the serious gaming generation." Now I suggest you stop whining and go back to playing Braid. (I want to stress that I thought Braid was a very good game)
I liked it. The animation, art style, and musical style was really cool. Overall the design of it was excellent. The actual game play was kind of trite though, and it's way to "high brow" in its execution for it's own good. The ending would have been so much better if it wasn't forced down the player's throats and pre-scripted for example. Such as simply making the people just stand around the alien in "awe" and only have one of the girls stick by and cry a drop would have been much more interesting than just having the whole fucking family spontaneously burst in tears. Not that I found the game particually emotional because it wasn't.
[QUOTE=Ninja Gnome;20581161]Nintendo-Guy, is all you do all day is look for flash games to play?[/QUOTE] I check newgrounds like three times a day for new stuff. Armorgames a little now and then too. That's about it. [editline]02:21AM[/editline] [QUOTE=KorJax;20581268]I liked it. The animation, art style, and musical style was really cool. Overall the design of it was excellent.
