Wow you must've been bad at WoW.
The majority of Facepunch is under 16.
I'm not :downs:
If you didn't find the trial remotely interesting then I wouldn't bother.

You obviously don't pvp or do dungeons.
What different enemies are there?
I'm not :downs:
Obviously your fat ass makes up the majority of Facepunch.
If you don't enjoy the trial, and you don't think you'll enjoy the rest of the game, then just don't buy it. It's all about preference, and if you don't like something, you shouldn't do it.
What different enemies are there?
Lots.
For each area there is different enemies, certain enemies have counterparts in the harder areas that are harder and look different+ has different loot.
This thread makes me want to get WoW again.
:\
I have decided not to buy it just incase i get addicted.

That's a terrible reason.
It's A 50-50 standoff, I say, Download a private server, If you want it to be exactly like Blizzard, there are alot of good ones on www.wowstatus.net
Its exactly like the blizzard servers, but a few quests might be broken depending on the server.

People don't like private servers around here, bud. Don't get a bad rep. for it.

sigh
A fun game, repetitive at the beginning then gets fun the higher you get. The fact that the first time I played it 3 years ago and said fuck it at lvl 6 makes me disappointed in myself. I got back into it and its fun as fuck, I'm only level 27 atm though.
Its great casual play, or you can just pay a month around sometime and do some dungeons and slowly level your way through. Great games come with a price.
With the relatively new Dungeon Finder, I find leveling to be ridiculously fast. Until later in the game, you hardly even need to do quests.

private servers are shit
the blizzlike ones are boring (seriously why play wow with like 10 people) while the wacky custom ones give you gear with +10000 stats so you can lol world pvp
Maybe if I pretend I'm an elf my daddy won't beat me no more, but he still does.

I shall try it one day then.
I shall try it one day then.
Just try it now, it's like £10 to buy and then 9 for a subscription.
You don't have to keep playing it if you hate it.

You do know that the higher your level, the better the guild you will be in, and the better the guild, the more they decide when you are playing.
Not sure why everyone in this section forces the game upon people, if he didn't enjoy the trial what's the point of buying the game? He obviously won't get to 80 if he doesn't like it, and if it only gets fun at 80 then it's a waste of money to him.

It gets fun at lvl 80, because thats when your guild starts deciding what you do, and when :clint:
[editline]11:41AM[/editline]
It is also when you will lose all that you have left of your social life.
Well... my point still stands. If he's bored already I doubt he's going to buy classic + 2 more expansions and get to 80.
Do you have to buy the expansions?
Do you have to buy the expansions?
To get to the max level but up to 60 nope.

It is fun, though, before level 80.
Battlegrounds and dungeons are great fun, and you can enter dungeons at level 15 and BGs at level 10.
It just slowly gets better as you get to higher levels and can participate in more dungeons, raids, etc.
Do you have to buy the expansions?
Only if you want their content, such as flying mounts, extra races, their locations (obviously), more battlegrounds, instances.
I raid with my real life friends, which is actually fun. We joke around on vent, AND get phat lewts.
Do you have to buy both expansions for the most content or does the newer one have the same as the old one with the newer stuff.
