Anyone have any idea of the level of modding support? Is there no developer support/encouragement like GTA IV? Or will they release mod tools.

These games with massive destruction need co op. I feel like Crysis and Red Faction would've been alot better with it, and I hope someone manages to write a co op mod for this game

It's kind of lame how some effects are exclusive to a COMPANY... It is completely understandable that some effects cannot be applied to DX9, but can be to DX10, but when they go and make effects exclusive to a graphics card company, that is going a bit too far. Nvidia already has PhysX exclusive to them, why do they now get water, and shadow effects that magically only work on their cards? Doesn't make sense. I haven't done much research into this though, so maybe it makes complete sense, and I just don't know why it makes sense right now. I suppose it is because they have CUDA? The article mentions it, and I know that it is something that Nvidia has and ATI does not, but I thought it had more to do with graphic design software...

It's the Cuda technology. And it isn't Nvidia exclusive. It works on ATI cards too, as far as I'm aware.
