The plane appears after you have caused enough chaos to unlock the race mission. It is around the center of the map, you can see it on the PDA as a race icon. By mousing over the race icon and opening the details, you will see a plane symbol under the 'Type of vehicle' section. Go there, initiate the race, and a plane will spawn. You can complete the race, which takes time, but at the end you will be able to do anything you want with the plane. On the other hand, you don't have to do the race, you can just fly the plane around and there isn't much of a penalty, but the downside is since the game thinks you're in a race, all the mission icons are erased off your map. (for the duration you are in the plane)
To get a helicopter you have to get enough chaos to get the black market (key '4'), and then unlock the helicopter under the 'vehicles' section of it. This helicopter doesn't have any weapons however, so you have to order it and fly it near enemies until they call for reinforcements and an armed enemy helicopter shows up. Get into stunt mode - (Press LALT) - and grapple onto the enemy chopper when it gets close. Kill the person in the side seat, then press 'E' to enter the chopper, complete the quick time event, and bam, you have a slightly used attack helicopter.
I just wish it wouldn't freeze at the loading screens. It even worked the first time I played. :saddowns:

Controls are a bit wierd. Plugged in a controller and now the game is much easier to play. Lovin' it so far. Reminds how much i loved the first game.

I had no problem with keyboard and mouse.
To be honest, I wasn't expecting anything great. Then I jumped out of a helicopter, grappled onto a car, rode on the roof, shot at some military guys, had them chase me, hijacked their truck, drove to a base, ripped the head off a statue and then blew up a gas station.

I don't understand how you guys can like this game, it's so boring and retarded. The only amusing thing to do is grapple rockets to people, that's about it.
If the game had good voice acting, I'd get more of a realistic feel, which I don't want.

Skydiving from the top of the sky is pretty fun the first time.
I just don't find this game fun at all, and I'm really open to new games.
I had fun for the 10 minutes I got to play in. It froze 4 times within that time period. It's basically impossible to play.
I am disappoint.
Hopefully they can get a patch out to resolve whatever is causing all this freezing.
My game is running perfectly fine, and I seem to constantly keep playing it.
