I have an idea.
While I was doing some really fucking crazy shit (going crazy while dual wielding an smg + grenade launcher :smugdog:), this message came up and its like "DEMO TIME EXTENDED".
If we can't directly alter the demotime, maybe we can alter the extension, so whenever you start the game you have to do some crazy shit (aka prove you're worthy of infinite time) then alter the amount of time it rewards you to something like 2000 minutes.
I have yet to finish my demo time completely since if keeps freezing :sigh:
So i downloaded it again and that fucker still refuses to work

My new deskptop
Sorry for the huge image
The first one a bit dodgy, but hopefully number 2 will make up for this.
I seem to be getting occasional slowdowns running the demo, nothing to make it unplayable, but it's annoying. Running it maxed out (no AA) on a rig with a ASUS HD5850, Intel Core i5 and 4GB of DDR3 RAM.
Anyone else having problems?
Hmm, I seem to be crashing more than regularly now, could be because I've decided to do the missions now compared to before where i was just sandboxing.
Can anyone help me? With my crashing problem.
done

I know you guys are having fun and all and I would love to join in. However, my demo does not even start. The screen goes black once i launch the game, and nothing happens.
I'm on Win 7 64bit ultimate.
I would love a little help.
Do what i did (with the help of flame cow) download new drivers or wait for a patch

I'm on an Intel Core 2 Duo E7200 @ 2,53Ghz, 4GB DDR2 RAM @ 1600Mhz and an Asus nVidia GeForce 9600GT 512MB and I can run it maxed out with AA and everything without any problems, tried updating your drivers?

Fixed it, I guess I didn't notice it in my rush to max everything out and get playing.

For nVidia users experiencing freezing, make sure your drivers are up to date.

Win 7 ultimate 64bit
Phenom II X4 940 quad core @ 3.00 GHz
Radeon HD 4890
4 GB ram
I just downloaded the new catalyst control center.
This game is the new definition of awesome.
And its just like 1/3 of the game, there are islands and even detailed cities to explore.
THE ONE ANSWER TO ANSWER THEM ALL
The plane appears after you have caused enough chaos to unlock the race mission. It is around the center of the map, you can see it on the PDA as a race icon. By mousing over the race icon and opening the details, you will see a plane symbol under the 'Type of vehicle' section. Go there, initiate the race, and a plane will spawn. You can complete the race, which takes time, but at the end you will be able to do anything you want with the plane. On the other hand, you don't have to do the race, you can just fly the plane around and there isn't much of a penalty, but the downside is since the game thinks you're in a race, all the mission icons are erased off your map. (for the duration you are in the plane)
To get a helicopter you have to get enough chaos to get the black market (key '4'), and then unlock the helicopter under the 'vehicles' section of it. This helicopter doesn't have any weapons however, so you have to order it and fly it near enemies until they call for reinforcements and an armed enemy helicopter shows up. Get into stunt mode - (Press LALT) - and grapple onto the enemy chopper when it gets close. Kill the person in the side seat, then press 'E' to enter the chopper, complete the quick time event, and bam, you have a slightly used attack helicopter.
Why would you answer it like you were finishing it once and for all, but then you answer it wrong?
The plane is there from the beginning of the demo, sitting on the runway. Doesn't matter when you go there, it is just there.
Just rode a plane into a water tower while standing on top of it and firing at enemies with a grenade launcher.
I've played the demo for like 3 hours (restarting 6 times I guess) and haven't found the grenade launcher

So go to the website of whoever supplied your GPU AMD in this case and download me some drivers http://www.amd.com/uk/Pages/AMDHomePage.aspx

:(
it's in the tower of the first town outside of base camp. Do a base jump off the ledge and head for the tall tower with the destructible wooden structure to the top. It's in that building, hope you find it

I've already downloaded the drivers. It got the demo to run by adding it to the "games browser" or whatever it is in Windows. It runs in wondowed mode (failsafe mode), but crashes when I try to go fullscreen...
To people saying this is 1/3rd of the playable area in the full game, watch the cutscene at the end. It zooms out and it shows that it's like 1/10th the area.
