Basically it makes out of focus light sources hexagonal shaped, mimicking camera lenses.
It seems to be quite an FPS raper though, even during daylight.

I'm looking at some stuff, & I'm going to mod the hell out of this. I found some interesting stuff related to the demo time, so if nobody else goes public with the info, I will in a few hours.
To be honest, reverse-engineering game demos = loads of fun and I don't know if I'd be so interested in this demo if there weren't all these neat little opportunities to do hacky shit

also found stuff related to lua bindings. i don't know if people will be able to write scripts for it, but if not, maybe the devs scripted a bunch of stuff in lua
