Have they changed the skydive much from the original Just Cause? Be[i]cause[/i] I can't achieve any forward momentum, I just fall straight down. In the first game you could fly at a 45 degree angle almost.

Yeah, I'm not sure how to gain any forward speed anymore.
You're probably holding down " W " while you're falling... Am I right? If so, let go of it while falling and you won't go straight down. Same with the Parachute. Or well, that's how it worked for me.

What exactly do you want to compare? Personally, as I said previously, I think this game will get worse reviews based on a couple of factors:
Stupid AI.
Near Invincibility of Player (which can suck because it takes the tension out of the game).
Is there no way to make the demo run on Xp? :(

Of course not. It uses DX10 and we all know how the DX10-XP-port ended (hint: catastrophic failure)

Long story short, you CAN get back in, but it's impossible to use the helicopter afterwards (although you can sorta land in it and it won't explode, but it won't ever take off again)

3) Go to Cheat Engine and change the scan type to "Unknown Original Value" and click "First Scan"
4) Go back to Just Cause 2 and fire a few bullets. (I fired 3)
5) Go back to Cheat Engine and search "Decreased Value By" with a value of how many bullets you fired, in my case Value: 3
6) Repeat steps 4 & 5 until you are left with a single address, the value of which should be a double digit number, i.e. 21
PS. The bullets in your clip will not decrease and you will not have to reload.[/code]

Probably why noone found the correct value in Cheat Engine before is because the timer actually does not decrease, it increases! It seems Avalanche was a bit tricky on this one
The adress seems to change every time so there is no definite adress to lock. It always seems to begin in 1A5 though.
1) Start Just Cause 2, trigger the timer by jumping off the platform. Open the PDA by pressing F1 and check what the timer says. Memorize it, or write it down.
2) Alt-tab out and start CheatEngine. In CheatEngine, browse the processes and select JustCause2.exe. Choose 'Unknown initial value' from the 'Scan type' drop-down list, '4 Bytes', and hit the 'First Scan' button.
3) Go in-game again, un-pause and let some time go by.
4) Again, open the PDA and check how many seconds have gone by. Alt-tab back to CheatEngine and search for a new value, this time a 'Value increased by...' (or, as listed by the program, 'Increased value by...'), and enter the appropriate value (the time in seconds that passed) in the 'Value:' box. Hit 'Next Scan'.
5) Repeat steps 3 and 4 until you find the correct value, usually an address starting with '1A5'.
6) When found, double-click it to add it to the box below. Freeze it and play for as long as you want.
I can assure you that it works. I have played through the demo for many hours and finished 100% of all the settlements.
