Awww, my mouse just broke
Downoaded the demo, the only problem is that I use XP.
:sympathy:
@Bolo: We need an ammo hack, cmon you can do it!
:sypathy:
What.
Good god aydin, you act like the 40% of people with XP do not have the physical capability to change. They may have alienated almost half the market at the moment, but as more people change to 7 they will start to get their sales back. It's better than supporting XP for the rest of eternity and never giving anybody incentive to change. I mean, honestly, what do you expect? As a new OS comes out more and more people are going to start supporting it. I'm sure that when the first XP exclusive program came out '98 users were just as butthurt as you. Also can we please get back on the subject of this thread?
Actually, to be honest, i do have two copy of windows 7 ultimate (i got them from my university for free) but backing up 500gb worth of data and doing a fresh install of a new os is just a big pain in the butt and i'm too lazy to it. So, instead i've been bitching about it on a metric ton forums including facepunch.
@Bolo: We need an ammo hack, cmon you can do it!
sure, sec
Well you're completely at fault, it's not their problem you're lazy.
It's kind of supposed to be cheesy sounding.
It doesn't sound 'cheesy' or 'campy'. It just sounds badly done; like they don't care.

Write a LiveCD of some OS. Remove Windows folders with LiveCD. Install 7.
Found a plane flying around outside the boundaries By the time I was close enough to grapple onto it we had crashed together :(
I found one flying around inside the boundries.
Guys there is a tractor in the demo :D If anyone wants I can get pics of the location
Guys there is a tractor in the demo :D If anyone wants I can get pics of the location
Do it. I like tractors. I'm going to play this game so fucking much, can't wait for it to come out.
Or you can just install it over your current OS, then it should place your files in a folder called windowsold. Thats what it did for me, you have to reinstall programs though.
Or you can just install it over your current OS, then it should place your files in a folder called windowsold. I'm pretty you can do an 'upgrade' install if you're using vista though...
The demo kept crashing on me. I'll just install it on my 360.
Ugh, this seems like such a good game, but if they made such a silly decision as to make it incompatible with the most stable Operating System Microsoft has released in decades then it's not worth my time :colbert:
2000 was more stable. /discussion I just preordered the game on Steam, there was no point in trying Amazon.ca since I didn't want to pay for the shipping and the rifle wouldn't be worth it. It's a shame I can't order online from Walmart Canada, that hovercraft looks epic. [editline]07:52PM[/editline] Oh, I played the demo for hours today, I noticed that one of the statues you have to pull down has no collisions when running the trainer. I found a ton of new vehicles, from quad bikes to tractors. There are also places that are supposed to have bridges, though don't. So the cars just keep driving and fall into a river :saddowns:
a couple of questions regarding the xbox demo: 1: where is this grapple upgrade, and what does it do? 2: I see people sprinting in some of the video's. Is that possible on the xbox version? if so, what button? 3: When it comes to hot video game women, Bolo is, quite frankly, a man. Am i right, am i right?
I think you have to do a fresh install if you were using xp. I'm pretty you can do an 'upgrade' install if you're using vista though...
You don't, I didn't atleast.
Do it. I like tractors. I'm going to play this game so fucking much, can't wait for it to come out.
Shit. Mine just went off the side of the mountain. Well here's where I found mine: The picture shows TWO SEPERATE THINGS It shows the tractor's location on the right. It was near a shed on that road. If you're driving up the mountain, you can't miss it. On the left is a quad I got driving just feet outside of the boundry. I guess different vehicles spawn when you're not actually in the map.

It is the same button that you use to dodge. (By just tapping it.) This is assuming the controls are exactly the same as the 360 controllers controls are on the PC. Which I have no doubts that they are. [editline]05:02PM[/editline] Ninja'd..
cool! I'll still probably travel by grappling trees, parachuting and stealing helecopters, though. Now, about that "grapple upgrade"...
I've been playing the demo for hours and I still haven't found any grapple upgrades. The grapple upgrade mentioned a few page backs turned out to be vehicle upgrade parts, which is completely different. The game doesn't mention anything about any grapple upgrade, so I doubt they exist.
Imagine this game with Euphoria physics.
We can always make our own "upgrades"
Ugh, this seems like such a good game, but if they made such a silly decision as to make it incompatible with the most stable Operating System Microsoft has released in decades then it's not worth my time :colbert:
I have never once had a bluescreen in W7, same with vista. Stop bawwing at how the game's moved on from your 9 year old OS.
shame, just imagine... "Grapple lets you pull yourself up onto a chopper. Ultra-grapple lets you pul the chopper down to YOU!"
Imagine this game with Euphoria physics.
Except this game isn't supposed to be realistic.
Except this game isn't supposed to be realistic.
But flailing limbs are always pretty to watch.
