Holy shit, I remember you, are you still hosting that MTA server?
OH MY FUCKING GOD THANK YOU
I mean cheers my good fellow
No problem.
Also one thing I forgot to say.
Keep doing the PS button thing till the timer reaches 0, It'll take you 1-2 minutes of doing it if done right.
And to get rid of the Demo Time thing, start up the plane race objective.
And if you die once after doing this it'll end the demo.
There's an infinite timer glitch on PS3.
All you have to do is wait for the timer to have 2 seconds left, from there do the following very fast...
Press the PS button while ingame...
Press the PS button again and as soon as you can control the game, you should be at the pause screen, immediately when you gain control after returning from the PS Menu popup, hit X to Resume Game...
Once your back in game, you have less than a second to hit the PS button once more, and repeat the previous steps 2-3 times, and the timer will stay locked with less than a second.
And you'll wanna get rid of the big red timer bar, all you have to do is call in the black market guy and it'll get rid of the timer bar.
I've just now done it, and now I'm gonna try and get 100% on all settlements.
Any sort of shit like that for the Xbox?
Any sort of shit like that for the Xbox?
Why don't you just replace the PS button with the Xbox Guide button?
Any sort of shit like that for the Xbox?
Don't you get a live thingy if you press the xbox button? Try the same thing, but with that.
I was just in a heli and started to fire at the enemies, and Rico started to hum Ride of the Valkyries.
Ahhh damnit, I just got nearly all settlements in around 2½ hours, till I was in one of the army bases and I overloaded a silo, I had such a shitty time trying to grapple my way out of the silo that I ended up blowing up with it.
Great game though, and in 2½ hours I only did around 7 settlements, and what tells me is that this game is gonna be nice and long.
Who the hell am I working for? Why is that I'm targeting Civilian Infrastructure? Why do these rebels think that destroying Transformers, Water Towers, Pipe lines and Cranes will help their cause win support?
Yeah and in the beginning (Just after the intro and causing enough chaos on the "demo platform" or what you can call it) she talks about making panau a living hell.
I'm not sure the civilians are ok with living under those conditions.
How she became the leader in the first place is anyones guess. she talks like a braindamaged 8yr old.

Holy shit, sorry, i didnt know you voiced her, i didnt mean to offend!
Disappointing that you can't use the grappling hook as a tripwire :/
I played the demo and have decided to buy this game, too bad it comes out in around 20 days. It is really fun to me, just wish I could get past the stupid timer!
It's not like there are already five fixes in this thread

They should. And there's an infinite timer glitch for the PS3 version too.
Fucking gattling equiped helicopters blew the shit out of me. I was out of my copter (it blew up) and was on foot, the copter still fired at me. It was unfair! :argh:
Well I've played the demo for 5 hours or so and it totally destroys the first game in every aspect except skydiving. In the first game you had good control over the dive but in Just Cause 2 you pretty much just fall straight down.

As it's been stated dozens of times before some people can't afford to upgrade their PC everytime they want a new game or they just prefer consoles. Just because you think they should doesn't make it so.

just beejn playing the demo, quite interesting, certainly on my buy list, alongside GOW3 and heavy rain
What was that offset again that I had to change in the exe to remove the area limitations?

That's still 2007-08. Mine hasn't been upgraded since 2004 and it's just economically better for me to use the Xbox instead of upgrading.
I spent five hours, and got 100 on all settlements, upgraded the heli to max, got the car to 4 stars, the bike to 2 stars, the frag grenade to 4 stars, the pistol to 2 stars, the SMG to max, the triggered explosive (which I don't know how to set off) to 2 stars, and the grenade launcher to 2 stars.
Anyone know how I can level everything to max?
Hold the grenade button down for a sec to trigger the explosives.

I think it's only possible with Cheat Engine.
Tutorial to get unlimited ammo on a weapon with Cheat Engine:
1: Get a weapon. Look at your ammo.
2: Go to Cheat Engine, get Just Cause 2 process.
3: Select Exact Value (default)
4: Make your first scan with the current ammo you have.
5: Fire of a few shots in-game, and reload. Look at the number you have of ammo now.
6: Put that number in, and do a next scan with that number.
7: You should only have 1 value now (1A4... for a 1 handed pistol)
8: Freeze that value.
9: Unlimited ammo for that weapon! (But only that one, you can repeat it for others though.)

Get off the high horse. No point in explaining why, but no one needs this stupid fucking elitism.
