This is what GTA 4 should have been.
I liked GTA 4 for what it was.
It says 'Games for Windows', not 'Games for Windows LIVE' you tard. Games for Windows just means it meets certain standards including built-in controller support.
I'm actually quite pissed that you HAVE to have Vista because it doesn't support DX9.
I'm actually quite glad there's a thing called windows 7, nobody said you have to have vista, and I'll refrain from using the word 'tard' since it's not a word and is only used by retards.
Damn, video capture for PS3 only.
Wait, if the demo features everything apart from missions, and a few new areas, wouldn't it just be better to only play the demo? I mean, a demo is only meant to give you a taste of what the full game would be like, while this demo looks like the full game, minus missions and cities.
Well, consider the fact that the demo only gives you 35 square kilometers.
The full game is 400 square kilometers.
And has missions.
And different vehicles.
And different weapons to find and upgrade.
I think you will want more than just the demo.
I can't fucking wait for the demo now.
Alright, so, from what I know, if you pre-order at Gamestop, you get Rico's signature gun, if you do it from Amazon(?), you a Bullpup rifle, if you do it from Blockbuster you get some kind of really nice car. I've pre-ordered from Gamestop, but I now really want that car from Best Buy. Think I should keep it at Gamestop or move to Best Buy?

It's pretty fucking stupid that you have to preorder the game from a specific store to get specific gear.

Woops, forgot about 7 (which is kind of embarrassing considering the time I've spent my dad persuading to get it on our PC, but to no avail). And my apologies about the tard thing, but I'm getting mighty sick of people who can't seem to tell the difference between the two when there's a word in bright orange letters on one of them.
Concerning the GFW thing, this is what I snatched from Wikipedia:
* An "Easy Install" option that installs the title on a PC in the fewest possible steps and mouse clicks
* Compatibility with the Windows Vista Games Explorer
* Installs and runs properly on x64 versions of Windows Vista and is compatible with 64-bit processors (though the game itself can be 32-bit)
* Supports normal and widescreen resolutions, such as 4:3 aspect ratio (800 x 600, 1024 x 768), 16:9 aspect ratio (1280 x 720, 1920 x 1080), and 16:10 aspect ratio (1280 x 800, 1440 x 900, 1680 x 1050, 1920 x 1200)
* Supports parental controls and family settings features in Windows Vista
* Supports launching from Media Center (Windows XP Media Center Edition, Windows Vista Home Premium and Windows Vista Ultimate have Media Center)
Although I think some genres (racing, FPS) need to have built-in controller calibratoin (i.e, you connect your controller in and it automatically loads the appropriate config). Not that it makes it any less of a good thing.

Despair not, From the interview I linked.
While we're on the subject of DLC, can you tell us anything about the sort of items we can expect to see in future or is it still pretty hush hush?
Nope. But those outside of North America looking at the Monster Truck with green eyes needn't worry. It'll be available everywhere at some point. It's important to us to keep the playing field level, so all DLC released will ultimately be available in all territories for purchase later down the line.
As long as PC users get it in an update (or as optional free DLC), shit should be fine.

My PC is too old to run the game so that's not really a issue for me, Do your own research.
Also, Looks like the demo has shown up at a game store in France. I have no idea why there's somebody off-camera with a shotgun.

Shotgun is Security.
Top Secret Demo!
:v:
Holy shit the game is coming out in like a month, seems so long ago when I first heard about it.
Pray to god we haven't hyped it up too badly.
It just says March 2010 in Steam? What is the actual day it's coming out?
[editline]07:31PM[/editline]
Fuuuuuuuuuuuuck March 23rd.

So then, still no octavio?
This is what GTA 4 should have been.
Are you out of your fucking mind? This is was mercenaries 2 should have been.
I live in the US. :/
Then you get a Monster Truck instead of the Parachute or the Hovercraft.
Just thought I'd point out, as is made obvious in the demo video at the start, time is limited to 30 mins.
Also death seems to end the gameplay session.

Yes the demo is timed for 30 minutes. But you can actually earn more time by earning chaos points and completing mission objectives.
You can also always just restart the demo when the time runs out.

Easily worked around.
If this isnt for PC im killing myself.
£40 at play.com is way overpriced for the limited edition - http://www.game.co.uk/Games/PC-Games/Just-Cause-2-Limited-Edition/~r345459/ is £25 gogogogog
I'm hoping this has good AI. I mean, sandbox games like this are fun, but for me, they get boring very fast when the enemies have an IQ lower than that of shit.

He means console not pc.
The game doesn't have a "limited edition". It's like BattleField Bad Company 2. The "limited edition" are just the pre-ordered first day copies, same price as normal game.

Nothing too special this time, just a timelapse. But damn it's pretty.
Also, here's a little treat, over 200 new gameplay images:
