I have activated my hard copy. Still I can't play it until release.
Well that's what I meant.
I get to do this :smug:
guess I'll just have to stick it in the dvd drive
I feel this is relevant
They'll never give us a boost.

(Reaction video, not a spoiler)
Whoo I achieved nothing.
I just came back from the school and I see KF crashed for a strange reason. WHY?, my +40 hours of idling into the trash... is still counting?
I thought, backed up by others thoughts, that after Portal 2 has released the GLaDOS home page will maybe not shut down. We might find something cool at 100% completion...
Like HL2EP3.
And why did i think that?

17 hours until Portal 2.
I was happy with a no BS, simple release date of Tuesday, 3PM GMT+1.
Why did Valve have to fuck up everything with this shit.

Stop rating me funny, you jerks.
17 hours until Portal 2.
It's not like we all knew that and everything.Thanks.

You're welcome. I see you rated me late AND replied! You're such a multi-tasker.
So The Ball is the current focus, right?
Anyone here optimistic for the game releasing today? I'm not. :smith:
There's one question on my mind now: why is the hours ahead of scheduled release going down? What's the point? We've worked so hard, and gotten so far, so why has the progress been eroded so? The answer eludes me to no end.

Because the hours ahead was an estimation, one made before we knew Valve would only take off 1 hour per game basically.
Guys it's still early in the day
It's not even 9 o' clock in Valve's timezone, and it's a work day, so people will be there.
Don't give up hope.

It is 5pm here so i'm not optimistic at all
I just woke up, now im all depressed and stuff. I'm going back to sleep.

If you're looking at the Release Estimations page, it's because it thinks we could've gotten further in that time. We didn't. To see how much time we are ahead of schedule, go to GLaDOS home page and minus the scheduled release with the projected release.

Valve is a group of assholes.
GODDAMN NINJAS!
[editline]18th April 2011[/editline]
and my automerge is also fucked!
This was a letdown
I'm making a note here: WHAT A WASTE
It's hard to overstate my disappointment.
It'll come out at roughly 10:00 AM here (which is while I'm in school :smith:)
Such a fucking waste of time, it still comes out on Tuesday... haha.
Just woke up, what did i miss in the last 600 posts
Just woke up, what did i miss in the last 600 posts
nothing
a bunch more of nothing
If I was an employee at Valve I'd be laughing at us right now. Than keep playing Portal 2.

Gabe Newell is on diet. No, nothing news exept a weird theory that say we should stop playing for make the game realise earlier. Erm.

I really think they don't care.
Has anyone contacted Gabe Newell now that its a weekday?
Oh... So it was an overestimation on the system's part. Still, it's a pity we didn't get as much off as we would've liked.
One last thought resides on my mind now: If only we had more time? If only this ARG had started earlier, and the Potato grinding was avaiable several days earlier than it was in this timeline? If it had started a week earlier, perhaps the Completed Computations for each game would have chipped off even more time, as Valve could afford to erode time for the ARG, and we'd have gained this game earlier.
But no, this is the final day, and as much as I wish things could change, there is no Ocarina to play the Song of Time on, no DeLorean to hit 88mph in. One can look behind them, but cannot break the glass wall that pushes them ever forward. The 5-and-a-half hours we have gathered may not seem much, but they still count for something. All we can do now is continue gathering, filling the computations as best we can.
