But what it shows is that the % completed has increased linearly, whereas if we had any influence and the potatoes increased percentage gain, it would be exponential instead of linear.

I thought it was 34 from playing games?
Valve was pretty stupid for doing this 4 days in advance. It should have been a week before the release.
That way the game wouldn't be coming out a few hours before the scheduled release.
