So anyone got some info on the optional release wipe? Still planned or did they ditch it? Will it refund plat?
Yes, it says when you get plat/founders that in any event of a pre release wipe it will restore platinum.

I've got Mag and Rhino in the works, but from everyone's opinions I'm kind of regretting Mag. Is Nyx any good? The mechanic of mind control sounds fun but is it effective or just gimmicky?
I think it's kinda fun but you might have some slight trouble leveling her because she only has two damage-based attacks and I'm not sure if one of them counts towards leveling. I'd say ignore her first skill since atm it's basically useless since enemies stand around and rarely attack. The rest are fine.
-unsnip- I can't seem to get in any games with my friend. I've heard that Hamachi fixes it, but it doesn't seem to do anything.

Weapons? When you're a nyx, you don't need weapons. Enemies are your weapons! When a group of enemies charge at you, you should not think "better gun 'em down", you think "ah, some more entertainment for my hive-minding abilities".
With a nyx, you're pretty much a deus ex machina. Any sticky situation are easy to get out of with enough energy. You start with 150, chaos requires 75, so you can cast it twice. "What is chaos?" you may ask. Well, chaos is a area of effect ability which makes anything near you turn around and never forgive his friend for taking his sandwich. Chaos is a good name for the ability, as well as mayhem, hysteria and complete madness. It turns any fight with multiple enemies into a massive fight which does not have to involve your friends. Cast it in a defense mission and you win all the rounds. TL;DR: Is the nyx good? No, she is something much, much better than just being "good".

My mom just came into my room and complained that Embers hips are too wide. waht
My mom just came into my room and complained that Embers hips are too wide. waht
Should've said "THEY'RE NOT HIPS, MOM. THEY'RE SPACE PANTALOONS THAT GIVE HER MAGIC POWERS."
The thing is that I don't even have Ember unlocked, and I've have no idea how she got to know her name.
any chance they'll lower the price of platinum If I spend $10 I want a fucking frame that's horse shit

Can anyone tell me if Rhino is any good? I was thinking of working towards him.
Can anyone tell me if Rhino is any good? It's probably not the best frame, since he has obvious weight problems; but the rough equivalent in terms of farming location is Ember, and I'd say he's better than her overall.

In what way is this expressed? Is he slower/can't slide or that kind of thing? And what do you mean with 'farming location'. I've only just started playing two days ago, so please excuse the lack of in-depth knowledge!
Weight problems? In what way is this expressed? Is he slower/can't slide or that kind of thing? And what do you mean with 'farming location'. I've only just started playing two days ago, so please excuse the lack of in-depth knowledge!
Playing as him is like being the fat kid in gym class. You're slow as fuck, and you tire out pretty much immediately. And by farming location, I mean which boss drops the blueprints. Generally the earliest two available are Ember (Ruk on Tethys, Saturn) and Rhino (the Jackal on Fossa, Venus). [editline];[/editline] And if you add in his helmet, then you stop being the fat kid and you basically start being a giant blob of immobile lard. With spikes.
Wait, add in his helmet? I thought you needed all three parts before you can even play a certain Warframe? Can you actually remove the helmet? Also, are there any mods that can speed him up a bit? I don't mind playing a slow character, but if my team has to wait after every ten meters because I need to stop and take a pathetic little breather, I might decide not to go with him.
Wait, add in his helmet? I thought you needed all three parts before you can even play a certain Warframe? Can you actually remove the helmet?
It's confusing. There's two kinds of helmet. [editline];[/editline]
Also, are there any mods that can speed him up a bit?
Some small hotfixes today: Added potential fixes and additional logging for several crashes. Added Region chat filter toggle in Options Menu. Multi-line chat messages should now wrap properly. Remove holiday extras - farewell bunny ears! Reduction of fusion costs and simplified conversion formulas (now linear scaled with proper rate of return on high-end cores). Chat-hang fixes. /f and /r shortcuts for adding and remove friends. Health, Shield, and Power Max stats will now passively increase with level.
WOO
Now you get +1% shields and hp every time you level up.
Now you get +1% shields and hp every time you level up.
It would be OP if it was a lot because redirection and vitality are still around.
The new passive updates totally buffed my Ash. I've got around 410 shields and 630 health. :v:
700 shields. This game just became babby mode
420 shields, 320 Health. Now I'm not a wimpy Weenie-Hut 150-150 Volt.
My only gripe is that you have to pick really specific regions to play in by East or West. then there are only like 1-3 squads anywhere past Europa. Also I think the update is nice because its actually fun and reasonable to play missions around your level alone, instead of doing 4 man pubs all day.
