Valefor is pretty awesome for rubeMY EYES FUCK
Wow. The things the Furax do to the Jackal is just kind of gross. It's like I'm looking at the scene of a particularly gruesome murder in ninteenth century Whitechapel.
Oh man, I finished that guy off with a charged punch to the ass. It was funny until he didn't drop anything
It begins. Again.
Farming rubedo is seriously something that will make me pay money for the game in the future :v:

Gods damn it is tough finding a good pub defense mission at low levels. All I want for Easter is some Banshee blueprints.
I hate those moments when my entire team appears to disagree with me that a mod I find common is not a good reward after wave 20 and I should probably move on. One host migration later I am getting squeezed to death by a seemingly endless wave of infested who all want to get a hit on that pod.
fuckety fuck farming blueprints is so bad the devs should trade in their high school diplomas for thorny dildos and sodomize themselves repeatedly tyl 8 times and not a blueprint
tbh platinum is far too expensive for its value
I heard that I can get the redirection(the shield capacity) mod by farming the defense mission at Venus. Should I keep playing it or are there better places to get it? As another question, what weapons could I get for a Excalibur? I'm still using my braton and lato vandal because I feel that if I buy something it won't synergize and i'll waste my credits or something. I'm the kind of people who hoard all the stuff they find and are afraid to spend/use it.

There is no specific places to get mods! They're random, so just find a place you find enjoyable to farm and grants a lot of mods. I could recommend getting any melee weapon which is not the skana. In the start, the cronus is good because you can get it early from the first boss. After that, most alert rewards are melee weapon blueprints which are basically the cronus with some additional stats like fire damage (heat sword) or high charge damage (plasma sword). I've heard the braton vandal is really good, so stick to that for the moment unless it doesn't fit your playstyle, then I'd say get snipe-a-ton or any other shotgun than the strun. Good sidearms are the bronco as a shotgun, viper as a one-handed smg or lex as a revolver/sniper pistol thing. Also, the bow can be good.

Only my lato is vandal. I know that all mods can drop everywhere but according to the wiki some of them have higher probability in certain places. I'll look into the weapon suggestions, thanks.
There is no specific places to get mods! They're random, so just find a place you find enjoyable to farm and grants a lot of mods.
That's not entirely true. Mods are random, but they do pop up more on certain planets due to the major inhabiting force. I think both Vitality and Redirection are common rank mods and while the drops themselves are a random selection from a list of mods combined with a percentage based on the type of enemy, each planet has a rarity ratio. Mercury is supposed to have no rare drops, so DE admitted they had to fix that. Can you get new polarities on your mods or in your empty slots?
I have the Cronus already but I sadly missed the vandal braton when it was available and I'm using the normal one(not mk1) instead. Only my lato is vandal.
I got the braton vandal, but I never got to leveling it because I had either the boltor or hek at that time, so I sold it after a while. The regular braton should be good enough, but the vandal is a minor straight upgrade according to its stats. [editline]30th March 2013[/editline]
That's not entirely true. Mods are random, but they do pop up more on certain planets due to the major inhabiting force. I guess either level or difficulty rating on missions determine that. I thought it only applied to levels on fusion cores and the rarity was determined by how rare the mod was, for example, I got a lot of "rare 5" cores from hard missions on Europa, which is a mid-hard level planet. It's mostly all speculation on our part, the devs hold all the numbers. So either we crack the game or trust the devs on it and the rest might as well be determined from personal experience.
Very soon mods will be sorted by faction. Right now, it is sorted by enemy level. That is why the common redirection can be found on Mercury, because it is supposed to be common.
So i pretty much fucked myself. I last played when everything was a skill tree and i try'd this again to day and now i have no upgrades .my guns do shit dmg and i have 100 shield and 100 armor Before i had like 300 and 225. GG worst game.

Me and my friend just spend an hour farming Tolstoj. Holy shit this is so relaxing after these nightmares on earth, and we got tons of mods and credits too.
Speaking of farming tolstoj, just add me on steam if ya want to do that, just leveling my fangs anyway :v:
773 rubedo... do want.
lol I have 3200 iirc
Beating Fossa is just so fun now. "Hi Mr. Jackal? I'm gonna punch you in your leg and WHAM YOU'RE NOT GETTING UP NOW Oh, you don't like that? WHAM, HAVE ANOTHER. YOU WILL NEVER WALK AGoh it's dead." [editline];[/editline] Is the Hyena this [del]pitiful[/del] fun?
r u hot yet
holy shit
good lord how does one do kappa in sedna
I love how Overload is a fucking nuke versus Corpus but I hate the freaking laser doors.
I was confused at first, but if you see a red glow on the ceiling, shoot it, and the doors are gone.
If the rumor about mods being more common in some missions is true, go to the defense mission on the left wing in Europa (it was called something on V I think) to get "fast deflection" mods for your warframe and all the sentinel mods while getting a shitton of rubedo! I was on that mission as a nyx, because she is amazing. To give an example of how amazing she is, was on a session I just got done with. After getting to wave 10, my team pussied out and left me alone. I decided to continue playing and was able to get to wave 15 without any teammates and nobody attacking the pod. The nyx's 3rd ability, chaos, makes defense missions way more easy. I just cast it once a wave comes over, they stop and start attacking eachother. When more come, I don't even have to cast it again, because an enemy affected by chaos has a higher priority than both me and the pod. All I had to do was to watch and sometimes re-cast the skill. There were a few issues with toxic ancients coming too close to the pod and sometimes getting energy cores from quite contaminated areas, but I got through and picked up a banshee helmet blueprint on my way out. After that, Crimor came along with me on another try and stayed until wave 20. All without any hectic situations except from the occasional teammate who got a bit too close look at the toxic ancients. Also, here's a funny fact I learned: A charger can kill a single ancient healer or disruptor by itself because of the stun attacks, but not a toxic one because of the poison cloud. Anyway, I managed to get to wave 25 with a random guy until finally giving up and accepting a mod I didn't really need. I'm quite sure I could make it higher if the trinity stayed or if we had a good tank who wasn't so interested in smelling green smoke.
