Just got off the TacticalGamer server, it's official, PR 0.9 is the shit.
We were fucking up some Russkies in Beirut
Agh. I tried to get on their server all day but it's password protected :(
and it seems that I get lag on half of the new maps. I'm running everything on low and it worked fine in .874, unless they tweaked the graphics. Still badass though. I'm liking Silent Eagle a lot and I can't wait until they replace USA with Germany :D
I tried this a couple weeks ago. I did terrible. I spent 4 hours one night trying to actually kill someone. I got one kill. 32 deaths. 4 hours.
I'm bad at reality games.

Don't join the army.

I think the devs upped the rendering distance, but amazingly enough I've been able to play at higher settings with no drop in framerate. Everyone in my squad was saying their framerates dropped too though.
Also, TG has password nights every Sunday and Thursday, you can get the password on their forums. It's really fun on those nights, the level of teamwork and communication is really amazing.
Can someone please buy me Battlefield 2 on steam? If so just click the icon under my avy and invite me as a friend. I used to love ArmA's fights but this looks so much better.
Anyone? ArmA is way too slow for me and Insurgency is only infantry.
Why must everything that I need to buy come up at the same time? I want to re-buy BF2 so I can play this, I pre-ordered Bioshock 2 because the deal was too good to turn down and I have to buy a new graphics card because the PC i just got (for free) came with a ATI FireGL V3100.

I no longer have any intention to.

Kills ain't the important thing in this game, it's not like vanilla BF2.
The things you usually do is to make the opposing team to bleed tickets, which you do by destroying vehicles, taking over bases and so on.
How the hell can you guys play? Whenever I double click on a server it CTD's :suicide:
Been pretty epic so far my only dis with it is on some levels it tends to lag like shit for unknown reasons
Troubleshooted my BF2 for 2 days straight, played the mod for like 5 minutes on co-op, ran around not knowing what the fuck to do, lagged, quickly realized that I never updated my Ati drivers after a fresh install of Vista yesterday, and am downloading right now.
Holy shit, I can't wait until I actually know how to play, lol.
Seeing a dogfight between 3 planes in a desert is pretty epic. :buddy:
I had a blast on Silent Eagle last night. This update is awesome, really helped fill a bunch of servers, too. At least 3 times as many full servers, I'd say.
Ok wtf.
Now every time I go into a server BF2 goes "HERP DERP, PROBLEM WITH YOUR CONNECTION".
The server that I connect to then goes off the list.
Am I crashing them? :ninja:
I doubt it. :3:
Love it when you got a commander and squad leader who take it more serious than there real life!
Hey, is it possible to rise the maximum amount of players in BF2?
What would happen? And why?
Terribly interested
My internet connection is only really, really fast. Still not good enough to play BF2.

Where is this?
I'm terribly bored with this mod because I can't get into the good servers. :frown:
Is that hte full install? Is there a patch to get up there? I don't wanna install 3 fuckin' gigs.

They changed too much of it to be a patch.
Your gonna have to download 3 gigs.
Silent Eagle is way better than Kashan.
Are there israeli voices while playing IDF?
Do a lot of people play?

Yes.

Yes.
I never really got much into this mod. I would have if there was something in it, like more unlockables and stuff that I could earn when I play more often or gain any achievements similar to modern warfare. If they add something like that, then this game be more fun cause there is something to do to keep me active.
That'd take the point of a balanced, realistic tactical shooter, darkedone.

Wow, do you really need incentives like unlockable weapons to keep playing? All it leads is complete destruction of teamwork and players who play dishonorably to whore points. (In vanilla BF2 for example, G36E and nade spamming)
I clicked on the Part 1 installer half an hour ago. The folder it is in has not been responding since.
Did the same last time, had to restart explorer.exe and everything after a while. Any ideas?

Depends on how much Ram you have I think, bigger the install file longer it takes to run, any time I download something over a gig it takes like 15 minutes to actually pop up have double clicking.
Well, since I only have 1.5GB and it's half one in the morning, I suppose I'll leave it overnight :v:
Pickup a USB stick if you don't have one, and you can turn that into some extra RAM.
