Passed out at 6PM, woke up at 6AM. Feels rested man. 1. Yes it's possible. I've done this by modifying the fog to fuck and back so that it's extremely dense and it makes it look MUCH more like night time. 2. Not that I know of. The infrared is all part of GTA code. MTA team hasn't ever coded anything to play with it. I'll file a bug report on the MANTIS page to see if I can get a dev to respond. 3. Yes, it's very possible. We'd need a smart tent placement system. I have some ideas for ground placement. Vehicles will be a bit harder, because they have shitty collision boxes. I guess I can just use a collision radius around the player, if it finds a tent, then you can open it, instead of aiming straight at it. MTA has object sticking functions though for sure. You can use the built in animation set and even select frames from them and sort've build a custom animation from existing ones. This is something that has been tried over and over, but it seems custom animations break a LOT in MTA and the devs always end up giving up. It's open source, so maybe someone here can try it if they know C++ :) 5. You can do custom models even. But using the map editor it's possible to build really cool stuff. I should really get around to doing some modelling for SA, I could create some new bag types and the roof rack.

CrystalMV is one of the best MTA scripters out there. I'll likely add it later.
Oh my god GTA SA hit detection is one of the worst I have ever seen in a game. Alongside that are the unbelievably jagged, unsmooth aiming and really bad aircraft controls. Still it's fun but those problems are ruining it badly for me.
I like the aircraft controls a lot actually.
Make sure you have the invert vertically box unticked in MTA options. I had it ticked by default, and it just makes Y axis mouse controls ultra sensitive.
Woovie's worked on a little script to give us a spray can when you press b. I've added in the drawtag script so now you can go around spraying dicks everywhere. Use /draw to open the designer. Use /drawtag to apply your tag to your spray can so you can spray it. Use /erasetag to put the can into erase mode, spray over tag to remove. This sounds like it could be fun if I actually had friends to play with, I wandered around on my own and hell was it boring. Only useful vehicle I found was a pickup that was half buried in a mudroad. Though it was pretty fun to see two guys go loot a hospital, and be covered in zombies, I tried to snipe them but didn't manage to do so.

It doesn't sound like it would be very difficult to edit. it would also get rid of those god awful collision boxes for tents and how the collision box is 30 feet up in the air so if you jump on a tent you go flying upwards....

Could likely do it with a cron but its just a pain in the ass, currently I've just been doing weekly manual backups and backups whenever something major is added, this wasn't really major so I didn't backup. I really think there should be way more zombie spawns, especially in the more deserted areas of the map. Zombies are just plain too easy to run away from and the game is extremely easy when it just spawns maybe 1-5 zombies every now and again. It should be like day z where you do NOT want to get hit by a zombie and they are really easy to aggro.
The spray system is broken for me, the draw thing works, all except the done button, and pressing b does nothing. Am I missing something, like a certain item, or am I just unlucky?
