I used to play with the /vg/ group over the summer like a few weeks after they first discovered it. Really fun times. Reading the first page, most of the pictures were created from the threads on /vg/.
BustaM aka blows you all up with grenades by accident, reporting in.
Jumped up on a roof with my bike, fell off it, keyboard bugged out and kept S held down which led to me falling down from the roof.
I can't get up again :(
So I was on the FP server earlier first time and I spawned near a highway, had nothing at all. I go find some supplies, silenced pistol. Look straight down the highway while running down it, I see a Patriot. Wow what an amazing find. Go about in the Patriot with 8/100 fuel getting supplies and refill at a nearby gas station. Repeatedly drive about and gather supplies/weapons. In the end I have a rifle, deagle, grenade, food, medical supplies and all the utilities like the GPS, watch, map etc, as well as coyote bag. Drive about a bit more and into a farm area looking for people to share my truckload of shit with. Find two guys geared up like soldiers (m4, army uniform, ghillie suit) named Arashi(Biker) and ShyFox(Biker). Just then like 10 zombies come at us, I drive away to prevent getting hit and those two guys kill all the zombies while I keep telling them to get in, which they do a bit later after the zombies are all dead. We drive about and talk a bit, I tell them they're welcome to any supplies in my vehicle and Arashi tells me he has 4K blood left (I have about 9K blood, I was attacked a few times earlier when I was learning the game and I had a armoury in the vehicle/backpack and I didn't know how to use the map or any of the medical supplies (right clicked some of them with no success). I tell him I have enough medical supplies in the vehicle to go around if need be, which they agreed and attempted to get out and check the vehicle's supplies out. I was driving still so ShyFox was left behind which I wasn't aware of, so Arashi told me to stop which I complied with. So they try to check the Patriot's inventory which they supposedly couldn't access. We drive around a bit more while talking about if both of them had a radio device and if they didn't (ShyFox didn't) they could have the one I stored in the vehicle earlier. Then they ask to try to access the vehicle's storage yet again which I allowed when I stopped up a hill. Arashi then basically throws me out of the vehicle and drives away down the hill and far away with some of my supplies stored inside with ShyFox in the other seat. After that I just watched them disappear then I went the opposite direction, found some more supplies/shotgun/bike half stuck in the road, used a medic kit to heal myself, saw that ShyFox died somehow, rode a bit on the bike and left the server and began writing this story.
When I left I had so much stuff: Rifle, Deagle, Shotgun, Grenade, Food, Drink, Medical Supplies, Alice then Coyote backpack, fuel, wire fence and all the utilities. Have no idea why the dick move, I was offering them pretty much everything I had for nothing. They were acting quite sketchy with the whole failing to open the vehicle's inventory and I knew this was the likely outcome but I was hoping they wouldn't do it.
TL;DR Get fucked over even when friendly and offering supplies stored in vehicle, walk about and find a bike/shotgun/supplies and leave the server.
Oh by the way, I'm "Krutponken" on the server.
So should I have like 4 weapons in my inventory, is that a good idea? I have a Deagle I use primarily, a rifle I use somewhat too, 1 grenade and a shotgun with some ammo.
By the way can someone tell me how to use all the shit I have in my inventory like the map and medical supplies?

I joined the Europe server with my friend.
He was in LV, I was in LS
We decide to both search for some gear and meet up in LV so we can go to area 69
We finally have enough stuff and I head towards LV
We are going to meet on the bridge south of LV
When I get on the bridge I decide I want to see if I can sneak up on my buddy and sxare him.
I start crouching and walk slowly.
When I almost get to the other end I turn around.
There are two other players right behind me doing the exact same fucking thing.
I freak the fuck out and scream to my buddy, he runs to us and we and the two other ls pretty much stand 3 feet from eachother and keep looking at eachother.
We don't know what to do and consider opening fire.
Thr other two are faster though, they grab their guns and start shooting.
We have a small shootout and kill both of them.
My friend is hurt and we decide to go to the hospital
We get there and loot the place
Someone opens fire on us
I run around the hospital and try to flank whoever it is
I meet two other hostile players around the corner
Open fire and kill one
I start running towards my friend, he opens fire and kills the last one (he got a different skin after this kill)
We finally start heading towards area 69
We get there but all the hangars have been looted
We enter the underground base
There is some barbed wire inside,but luckily my friend has a toolbox
We enter and suddenly see another player inside, he doesn't notice us but is crouching around for some reason.
He is armed, so we decide it'd be best to take him down.
We move to cover and open fire.
He leaves the server before we could kill him
We start exploring the underground base and we talk about how we were lucky to survive all of that
This is the moment in which I fall down the stairs and die.

I have no idea at all, I don't have one.
the radio works within like.. a 400 to 500 foot radius.

Yeah, ShyFox and friends are some dicks. I was minding my own business, killing zombies. I come across them and offer them some food. They then shoot me. I PMed ShyFox asking him what that was all about and apparently "I was a zombie" and "I was walking towards his friend". I told him that if he's gonna be an ass don't lie about it. ShyFox and his buddy got killed shortly after so justice was served in the end.
Had a nice time playing with Rathlin1. I can recommend him ;) ;) ;)
Anyway was just playing with KillerTele and we found an heat-seeking RPG and two Patriots run-down. No ammo for the RPG though. By the way radios seem a bit bad, is team chat better? If so how do you create a team?

Yeah, group chat is far better. Radio does have its uses occasionally though. To create a group, you use the 'F1' menu. You can assign sub-leaders and kick people etc with the gang menu accessible with 'U' too.

Here's the story; I'm on the same life I was on when I killed the other two guys, when I end up waiting for my friend on the other side of the golden gate bridge to bring us a motorcycle.
I'm hanging around town when my friend tells me that two guys are heading towards the town I'm in, heavily armed. I see a shape rapidly approaching from the distance as two guys on a Chavez speed into view. This was not what I was expecting, I thought they were on FOOT, so this ruins my plan of trying to snipe them as they entered town.
They drive around, seemly oblivious to my presence when they all of a sudden stop dead and disappear. I'm thinking that they saw me and Disconnected. I literally said to my friend that I should have shot them when I had a chance when it again reappears, and one of the guys dismounts and begins aiming a weapon at me and slowly approaching while the other guy waits in the intersection.
I don't hesitate and fire 4 rounds of my country rifle into the guy, and then another 2 more to make sure he was dead. The guy on the motorbike (they both look like agent smith) peels out and is never seen from again.
We loot the guy to find a sniper with one round, an M4 with 30 and a tech 9 with some smg ammo, along with A TON of medical supplies, tools, and infrared goggles.
My friend then pulls up in ANOTHER motorbike he was able to repair and we set off in search of a gas station. I spot a base and we pull up aside it and begin to investigate when I see a player on the hill overlooking the base, and then another player in the bushes in millitary camo MUCH CLOSER IN.
So, I get like 2-3 sniper rounds into the camo guy, which seem to do nothing and tell my friend to light him the fuck UP. Although even under the combined onslaught of my MP5 and his Mac 10 he still didn't die. Needless to say, we both did, but both wheels on the bike got shot out.
Now, if you don't believe in luck, this next part will be sure to change your mind. So we both die, and end up getting the same spawn at Bone County, and head off down the road a ways. The first loot pile we find has 2 surpressed pistols with 2 mags, a map and a knife. As soon as we enter what looks like a suburban/commercial district I SPOT A FUCKING POLICE HELICOPTER JUST SITTING THERE!
We quickly make tracks to it to find that it's in perfect working condition, and only needing a little fuel.
The next couple hours we spent getting more fuel, meds, guns and ammo and food flying from city to city with impunity, finding another chopper on a mesa in the desert ares (which we couldn't use because it was stuck).
I die once due to some shithead camping a gas station, but didn't lost anything important and we ended the session by landing on a really tall skyscraper. God damn that was fun as hell though.
Everyone is playing on the same server, right? I think it would be best to do that if not. Also KillerTele destroyed the truck he was talking about a few posts up, he also died when it exploded so I had to fix a bobcat and bring him his stuff. By the way I was about to press F1 in-game but I wasn't sure what it would have done, at the I thought it would kill my character for some reason. Anyway two things: Is there any aircraft you can fly? And where can I find a ghilie suit/m4?

Is there anywhere I can see them?
I like the DayZ concept better on SA's engine more to be honest. With things like the jumping and climbing and all that it feels more fluid (although the shooting is utter shit), and I love GTA's driving. I only wish the starting skin could be any of the peds from the vanilla game so you don't always have the same boring white shirted survivor with stoner lines running around everywhere.
Cooler cars like your Banshees and Buffalos would be awesome as well and something I'm surprised isn't already utilized. Increased, diversified car spawns would make the experience much more interesting and entertaining. Isn't there a monster truck in San Andreas? Still fun anyway.

Man, I just really love these kinds of games. A friend of mine keeps complaining that it's boring and you don't do anything but jesus, I just love the tenseness and the sneaking and the planning around to make things work out, the survival aspect - goddamn love it goddamn fuck.

I enjoy it too, was in the FP server at area 69 looting some gear when I heard gunfire (actual shots, not the ambient noises. It was proven by me actually seeing the bullet hit the wall and sparks fly) and I was jumping about now knowing where it came from, really I looked all about with no one in sight.
Anyway which server are most of you guys playing on?
Why are there ambient AK and pistol shot sounds in Los Santos?
