Tony Hawk's Underground - Best in the Tony hawk series, you go from local skater to worldwide pro!
All the GTA PS2 Games - Any of them, sure it's not 2d, but they're still great!
Star Wars Battlefront - Great FPS, it was ps2's Team Fortress! (I just messed up bad D:)
Half-Life - If you didn't play 1998's best game, you can get it on console! (I never played HL on ps2, but I did see it :D)

It's a real shame I didn't play jak and daxter or Killzone, God of war 1 and 2 MGS2 and MGS3 (although I played MGS1 and MGS4, also Killzone 2 and God of war 3)
