The lack of apostraphes on pretty much every item is getting a bit silly at this point, but it seems like people are just ignoring that :v:
Kinda funny how Judas' Tongue is pretty much the only one with an apostraphe because it wouldn't make sense to say Judas Tongue, at least with the other characters, adding an S to the end at least implies that there's posession with the following noun.

it's one of those games where you subtly get better, you eventually discover pattens and such and you get ever so slightly further and better with each attempt
ofc a lot of it is dependent on luck too..

Am I the only one who gets kinda depressed when thinking about this game's plot as a whole? I mean outside of the fact it's a take on a old tale, the fact that there's literally no happy ending for Isaac, no matter what. Seeing one of the achievements being Isaac's decap'd head just kinda drives that in. Poor kid.

Anyway, Done a few runs today, got Mama's boy without noticing (No womb damage)
Then done a few challenges. Really not looking forward to purist.

I disagree. Binding of Isaac is based on the themes from the bible and Christianity. Adding mythologies would remove from it.

I hope it fixes ingame and Steam achievements because I have about 7 of them waiting to be unlocked.

Try going into your Isaac folder and deleting FlashAchievements.exe
Then restart steam, verify cache, let it redownload the file and try opening the game.
That's the process I have to do to get the steam achievements to unlock, anyway.

Exactly what you did, but after a good half hour of hard working and clearing the cache and defragmenting the files multiple times, I got it to work again.
And it did unlock the achievements.

Just beat Mom's heart 3 times in a row. First with isaac, then with judas (I got technology 2 in Basement I), then with cain, where I got 3 luck up pills. It's like I turned off the troll engine.
Tech 2 + Mom's Contacts is amazing.
Soo looking forward to the content updating coming in a couple of days :) the new achievements look interesting
