I notice that whenever there's a room with a reward behind rocks (keys, coins, a machine, etc) a secret room will be adjacent and near a spot where you would have to bomb to get to the reward. Is this just luck or proven? Because it's happening a lot.
So after 30 hours, here are the things I dislike about WOTL:
1. Items that give you flight. There are way too many of them and they're too common
2. Dead dove and Spirit of the night are horribly designed items. Flight and spectral tears gives you the ability to stand on a rock AND shoot through it. Not a single enemy shoots spectral tears so the only way to get damaged is by explosives or flying enemies. It was ok before because it was hard to get spectral tears AND flight.
3. Most enemies are reskinned. Green explosive shots everywhere
4. Samson is boring and bad

Besides that, I love the DLC.
But seriously, fuck Dead dove and Spirit of the night I hope they get reworked

Mega Fetus runs are fun at times, a bit too common nowadays though.
Thank god you only have to beat the first boss of two to beat the Curse of the Labyrinth challenge, went in with half a heart and hot Monstro II, it was SO EASY.

It's okay Postal, it took me almost a month to find the Pinking Shears for Golden God. You're not alone.
The more you care about getting that item the more painful that wait will get. I was lucky enough to get the Pinking Shears on a fluke playthrough with ??? that I was doing for fun. Just keep your mind occupied with the content coming tomorrow or the next day and Abel will eventually present himself along the way.
