Finally got myself to buy the game on steam (I kinda didn't really pay for it in the first place, but I bought the game and dlc twice to get the full game myself, and I gave the second copies of the dlc and game away to random people on steamgifts). Can't believe how much stuff was added. Glad they fixed Brimstone, I actually fell into the trap of getting it before it was patched once.

I never paid for my game either but I bought a retail copy of Isaac to show my appreciation for 100+ hours of entertainment and ofcourse the DLC. :) Probably the most entertainment I've got from 15 pounds ever.

I've seen it elsewhere but I believe it's only supposed to appear in Treasure rooms. Items have been appearing in weird places lately.

That also supports my guess that it's supposed to be Super Sloth's buff and not Sloth's. It's ridiculous.
You reckon it's easier to get the No damage achievements before or after the DLC?
The DLC does give you stronger and more annoying enemies, but it also seems to give you better items more frequently.

I would definitely say pre-dlc. I can do extremely well when I play my retail copy compared to the game now. Also the very powerful items seem to have been balanced compared to yesterday.
This might be an odd question but does anybody have a spare copy of the binding of isaac but not the dlc becuse if so i can trade the dlc for your extra copy. ( don't ask me why i have the dlc but not the main game.. )

It depends on your items. If you have extremely fast tears or even worse technology 2.0 you're hitting him so frequently he will fire more frequently. because Sift had the mega fetus he shot him slowly so the boss shot back slowly
pony is somewhat broken. You get hurt too if you use it with spacebar, most of the time.
any familiar + holy water is still broken, will turn any familiar into brother bobby.
Brimstone still broken you can no more start pressing the direction again as soon as you have fired, or the beam will last just a few instants.
oh and don't do my mistake don't put effort in XL rooms you can't get the no damage achievement there.
