Personally, my favorite trinket is the Flat Penny. Infinite keys is something I care a lot for.
Say, just thought of an item that might fit into the Isaac "mythos"; Dad's Juice, a Spacebar item with side effects. It's essentially a bottle of either beer or whiskey, something Isaac's Dad drank sometimes. When Isaac uses it, it'd function like a combination of Book of Shadows and Book of Belial (being drunk numbs pain and causes the drinker to feel somewhat stronger), but would also have a strong speed down effect coupled with Isaac stumbling about a little, and when the effect runs out, Isaac stops for a moment, does the pose when he loses at the slots, and leaves a green puddle beneath him that damages enemies around him (headache and puking).
It'd be a powerful yet dangerous item; gives Isaac a powerful buff for a time at the cost of mobility, then leaves him vulnerable to enemy ranged attacks for a moment whilst melee attackers receive damage for trying to get to him. It'd probably need to be pretty rare, and maybe have some other drawbacks for balance, since if one has the Nun's Habit or the Battery or the 9-Volt (or all three), one would be able to use Dad's Juice quite a bit and do some moderate wrecking.
Why does the game continue to give me rapid fire items when I have Chocolate Milk?
What have I done to deserve this?
EDIT: Nevermind guys, the game apologized for it's rash behavior and offered a [sp]D20[/sp] as compensation

Can I use any character to unlock ???
D20 would be awesome in your situation.
Do you have to find all the trinkets to get platinum god, or just the collection stuff?
Do you have to find all the trinkets to get platinum god, or just the collection stuff?
You have to get EVERYTHING.
Ever.
All this talk of Platinum God makes me sad.
I am but a filthy Macintosh peasant and Steam achievements are bugged on Mac, so I achieved 100% but had to have my hard drive wiped at some point because I'm an idiot, so now I have nothing to show for achieving Golden God on my original save file.
Getting no-damage runs and such is so much harder with Wrath of the Lamb, it's really quite upsetting.
Just encountered that Greed not appearing bug. It's hilarious because it's like he just decided to take a vacation and didn't tell anybody.
Also, Yum Heart + Nuns Habit means infinite blood bank plays (up until the womb, ofc)
Whats best, Flat penny or left hand? or what does the left hand even do?
Do I have to find all the passive items too to unlock the platinum god?
cause I have all of the others, but I miss some of the newer ones.

According to the wiki, "The Left Hand has a decently high chance to spawn curse chests in normal rooms".
Just had another thought; what if Binding of Isaac had darkness as an element of gameplay, similar to the trailers? It would certainly add another layer of difficulty to this flaky pastry of roguish Zelda-like dungeoneering and child abuse, with perhaps Matches being the main source of light in rooms where it gets dark.
It'd probably be a difficult thing to code, or perhaps just as easy as a dark translucent overlay and a coded entity that makes transparent holes in said overlay. Nonetheless it'd be kinda cool for those in search of a challenge; Darkmode Isaac would be challenging indeed.

That would be awesome, but it would make too many rooms where there a lot of shots coming at you impossible to clear without taking damage.
Ahahahahah, I decided to try the invincibility glitch with Eve.
I found the razor.
Spam the razor, get infinite damage boost.
Whore of Babylon + Infinite damage, all the time.

Yes, that would be an issue of fairness; if you can't see it coming it's not usually fair. Perhaps make shots glow in dark rooms, either by default or as an item.
[TRANSLATED FROM TARUIC] "Unseen attacks are without honour or Tarunity; if one can see the attack coming and fail to best it, they have no-one to blame but themselves. Trust not in the bolt-blaster, for it shall bring shame to your battles." -Gurath Huq'Sterr, The Path of Honour
I got an angel room offering to send me down to Sheol...
Seems counterproductive.

What's an angle room? Did it get added in the new update?

angel*
Played a round and abused the hell out of that Yum Heart + Nuns Habit thing.
Got to the fight with [sp]isaac[/sp] then found out that I'd somehow been invincible the entire time thanks to that one bug.
I'm fairly certain that the simple (but rare) combo of Nuns Habit + Yum Heart + Wafer would be incredibly powerful.
I just found a Golden stack of shit.
Someone tell me what this golden poo-poo pile is.

Pretty sure you just destroy it and it gives you money.
I think it drops money; shit is so cash.
Also, if you have a Horse and Mom's Knife, you've got kind of a Jousting build, a knight on a horse with a blade.
Also also, there should be more Horses (not using the heretical P-word), each one based on the different Horsemen. We have the regular Horse and the Conquest Horse, so why not have the others? They could have a chance to spawn in place of Cube of Meat, though the chance would be rare.
The Famine Horse could spawn a bunch of friendly flies when you charge, Pestilence Horse could create a toxic explosion if you charge into an enemy, War Horse could become a smash hit in the West End- I mean act like Anarchist's Cookbook on charge, and Death Horse could slow down time when you charge.
