I know this won't help you because your Laptop's shit, but did you know you can play other Steam Games AND BoI by launching it's .exe in it's common folder?
This also lets you play it without launching steam.

I found out that my savefile was bugged, a couple of secrets completely refused to unlock. So I had to delete it, let the game restore it (overwriting the unlocking order with a default one), then poke around until I found out which secrets were bugged, and after an hour I got it working. My secrets are at 95/97 as they should be.
But I accidentally unlocked Platinum God (thinking it was a normal unlock) and even after unticking and manually deleting it from my save file, the start screen is still the platinum god one.
Where, pray tell, is the current start screen value stored so that I can just finish beating this game already?...[/SUP][/SUB]
Screw it, I just completed the two tasks I was missing. The game doesn't want to say I did, but I KNOW I finished every single thing this game told me to. I made sure. I'm free now.

My secrets are buggy, I have 4 of the Forgotten Horseman notification, but now my earliest secrets are gone. Presumably because the new secrets I get now are actually overwriting the old ones.
I'm probably going to nuke my save file at this point, that's annoying as shit and it's not like I have much to lose now considering that I've done almost everything (plus the Chest secrets are buggy for me now, one character unlocks another character's shit and that's just annoying and confusing. If I restart, it should be fixed by the time I get back to that point).
My brother got Edmunded. He used a 'the moon' card in the chest. There IS a secret room there, you just can't break the wall to get in. So now he's trapped there forever, he can't break the wall and get out.
holy shit i just cannot get a good run with samson ever. i've had at least 30 failed runs in a row and i just get terrible items all the time, and if i actually get something good my health is usually too low to even make it to mom. does he have extra bad luck or something?
the only time i was able to beat the chest was actually with samson, and that was before he got buffed. now i just have to beat satan with him which seems like an impossible task for some reason.
Duke of flies is my favorite boss. Awesome design

Finally beat the chest. First floor epic fetus +3 heart containers + halo of flys. Found the nail on second floor. The polaroid even dropped twice during the run.
Became Guppy as Eve and cleared the chest.
2 items unlocked in one run. Sadly I got judas' tounge instead of Eve's bird foot
I cannot even complete the first chapter :V still have tons of fun with the game tho. But after a while you realise the level's are not different each time at all, they are just templates mashed together

I got two error rooms in a row yesterday: Got a telepill, got Error Room, went to the next floor, got Telepill, went to Error Room
It was neat.

I think Ed nerfed it a while back that made it able to spawn on 2 adjacent rooms. I hate it.
