I got some problems. I just install the game in my new laptop and is very very slow.
any ideas how to fix this?
Got all latest drivers, flash player, etc updated?
It's gona suck anway because it's made on flash, which by it's nature will be bad for optimization and thus your laptop.
weeeeeee, finally got golden god. the only item I haven't unlocked is Forget Me Now.
You know you're in for a good run when you get Pony, Skatole, and Luck Foot on the first floor.
i got the dollar in the first arcade on basement 1 by playing the slots once
the book of revelations and the battery showed up on the first floor shop also
i got skeleton key on basement 2
a few hp ups along the way then i get devil room with brimstone on caves 1, sweep the rest of the game
then on womb 2 i get judgement, use it, and get a bible from the dude
holy shit that was the luckiest run ever

Blood Donation Machine gave a blood bag on first try.
The guy in the middle gave Skatole after two tries.

Skatole is a really common drop from the skull cup guy in the arcade.
I hate getting Skatole purely because it makes my badass as fuck classy bomb demon with frothing blood and wings look like an asshole

Looking for a time waster. Is this game worth getting?
I'm really getting excited to see what is in store for the expansion; if I were to try to brainstorm with what is going to be made available compared to what is in-game now, I don't think I could come up with nearly as much stuff as we've been told is on its way.
I'm also curious what changes are going to be made for people who don't get the DLC, so they affect the game at its core - such as buffs/nerfs to existing bosses/items and miscellaneous bugfixes.

$5 got me over 40 hours of fun enjoyable game-play. Do it.
To think there are going to be new items crazier than brimstone is a scary thought.

I wonder what would happen if you got Parasite and Fetus in a Jar. My bets are on them not stacking at all, but imagine how insane it would be to have bombs throwing out smaller bombs like a MIRV.

You're right, nothing happen if you got both, Fetus overdrives the parasite and the parasite dont do anything after you have fetus in a jar.

It would be unheard of if Edmund and Florian went through to explicitly code certain things to interact with one another when they currently do absolutely nothing.
There are a lot of combinations that have no interaction at all, at least with the Brimstone + Mom's Knife combo, both of those give damage multipliers on top of their functionality. There's gonna be a lot of combos once the expansion comes out.
