Those Masks can go fuck themselves; they are pretty annoying to kill.
Feels great to get the powerup that makes you a ghost and then just hide in a pile of rocks, Not even the projectiles can touch you. Those masks don't stand a chance.
What the hell, I just noticed that my game hasn't been giving me my achievements since July 15. How do I fix this?

They only unlock when you run the game, which is still kind of annoying, the unlock times will all be identical, making it look like you used SAM or something.

Especially the fucking boss version. I only beat the boss mask thing due to sheer abundance of faith hearts and the horse thing scooting me around quickly. Every other time I face it I know my run is about to end.
I've sunk 52 hours into this game, and I just beat it for the third time. Am I bad at this game or is it just this difficult?
I think I just got Edmunded. I was in the second-to-last room of the chest, fighting two carrion queens. As soon as I killed one, for some reason, the other one became invincible. I tried bombing it, blue candle-ing it, and even using my sun tarot card on it. No damage. So, since you can't bomb doors open in the chest, it got to slowly kill me.

Had an amazing Judas run. Got the horse from Conquest, as well as a slew of other ridiculous items.
During the fight with Mom's Heart, an enemy drops a chest. Open it and somehow get instantly teleported to the devil room, which has a trapdoor to Sheol. Make it all the way through and fucking die during the fight with Satan.

I got Skatole beforehand, and I found another Arcade. No biggie, I had a fuckton of Luck up pills (I'm Cain)
I only had 4 hearts, but the rest of my health was with Soul hearts

Fuck, why won't Mom drop the polaroid? Beaten the game twice since getting the expansion but both times, no polaroid, just the old ending after Mom's Heart.
Do I have to reach "It Lives" or unlock the polaroid somehow first?
it's a shame that after you beat moms heart once, you realize how terrible the bible is in later runs

putting almost 200 coins total into that skull game, I received 18 hearts, 14 keys, roughly 17 bombs, and only just got the fly love upgrade. At first I was thinking "I'll put a few coins in, the next boss is mom so my money will be pretty much useless."
This quickly turned into a fury as I slammed more coins in, every time the item would pop up, I'd fail. I had 55 or some odd coins going in, and got a dollar from the slot machine that I didn't grab until I used all my current money.
That was more frustrating than a room full of masks.

I have a newfound love for the skull guy, since I started trying to get skatole every time I go into the chest. He generally turns out hearts and coins often enough that you don't really lose much money, provided the blood bank holds out. And if it doesn't hold out, then you get +1 health, or an infinite replacement for the machine, which is easier to exploit for extra money.

Save keys for the Chest, take time to visit every secret room including the top secret ones (an eternal heart helps a fucking ton as Judas), keep Book of Belial unless you get incredible damage outpost without or you find something like The Nail, be wary on pills, take your time and plan how to make the best out of your current situation on the early floors.
Oh and always go for Boss Arena rooms, you start with low health and even if you got some HP up, taking around 2 hearts of damage to get access to one is often worth it.
Accidentally took Ipecac while I currently had My Reflection.

A fly killed me in Necropolis.
I had a promising run with all sorts of great items (technology 2, lots of hp and damage upgrades, speed up, etc.)
Got knocked down to half a heart in Catacombs 2.
Saw a store and hoped to find a heart or something.
Found Greed.
Died.
