I haven't had that issue. I have, however, had the game stall for a minute or two before the cutscene between The Depths and The Womb. Then the game goes monochrome for a few frames.

So I did a Blue Baby run today.

I'm really starting to hate the Bloated Ovum.
He's the only boss I have trouble with anymore. And he only shows up in the Basement 2 for me, which is way too early for him to be showing up. I would most certainly walk around in huge circles around the room so the blood trail would dissipate by the time I make another go around, but that god damn sperm baby always floats in a corner so that the thought of walking straight into his blood beam can force me to do otherwise, and then I proceed to stumble over the blood or get rammed by the main body, or just get hit by the beam anyway.
I went in with 5 hearts. Died.
Bloat for worst boss ever.
There's no way to come out of that fight without losing hearts. You can't dodge instant brimstone.

And those blue spiked plates are bullshit. Some rooms they add extra challenge but I've seen several layouts that force you to take damage.
Well, to be fair there's a brief fraction of a second worth of delay, but it might as well be instant since few people have such hair-trigger reactions; for the Brimstone beams there is almost nothing in the way of attack-telegraphing. If you can stay away from the firing zones and curve your shots, hopefully getting behind the beast at times for easier non-curved volleys, one could theoretically come out not too bad against that fat sonofabitch.
Also the blue spike blocks are pretty assholey. But one think we can take solace in; Isaac never takes damage-over-time. If he did, it'd be pretty nightmarish.
I just got an Eve run with the sacred heart, polyphemus, cursed skull and scapular. This meant I couldn't die and would just be teleported back a room upon taking a hit while in constant demon form.
Then I ran into Mask of Infamy and had to call it off since I was out of bombs and my shots were too slow/kept hitting the front. :suicide:

Also what, I never had trouble with it, actually I don't think I've ever taken damage against it. Usually the sperm baby just floats in the middle of the room and just stays there and occasionally fires a brimstone beam 1 second after I cross its line of sight.

With Poly-Sacred you should only have to hit his heart 5 times at best, and his backside even less.
That run would have been completely worth it had you trucked through,

The heart went down in 5, and the mask took around 4-5 which was my best. Also, each shot on his back took around 30 seconds to do and I had to get close and lucky. It didn't really matter though because I had been attempting an iron man run that failed.
I still think the Mask's AI is ridiculous. It moves faster than your shots do more often than not!

Also whenever you shoot and kill a heart while a mask is after you and almost got you, you hope it will disappear but no, oh no, that mask's heart was on the opposite side of the screen and you will get hurt. hnn.
I can't seem to get Mom's Contact achievement no matter what I do, even when I should. I think it might be related to the steam achievement bug.
Also I can't get The Bandage, but I noticed there is a secret condition to kill the 4 horsemen, which i guess I haven't done yet. is it possible there is a secret condition for Mom's Contact too?

I had to collect two on my run, I got mom's heel, then mom's eye later in the run, and then after that got mom's bra. I think you have to get mom's eye first, though. Also, mom's knife doesn't count.
I've been having a problem where I cannot go to the Cathedral at all. I've beat It Lives 6 times now and I only get the trapdoor to Sheol. Does anyone know whats wrong?

I'm just going to use now as a point to tell you that since I really, really love your Binding of Meatboy idea that I don't feel it's right for me to draw those concepts anymore

just that I think my work wasn't doing them justice
don't get me wrong I WANT to illustrate them but on a personal level I feel really inadequate in comparison to others works (I mean look at Killburn holy shit) so I'd really like to personally improve before I return to that
hope you understand why I'm doing this, and thanks for being awesome and coming up with such kickin' rad ideas in the first place. I'm serious. your ideas are amazing and someone with your creative ability should be more recognised then you are.
