The wiki says that sometimes they do it if they're pushed into corners, but it need confirmation.

Totally understandable; when comparing artworks it's hard to not to feel disheartened at times when someone can slice a better gouda. If you feel your skills aren't able to do the target material justice, then that's ok, not everyone's capable of first-time perfect captures. But as i've heard many times, experience is the best teacher, and continuous practice could hone one's skills to become better at what they do.
Nonetheless it's natural to feel inadequate at times; thanks for the efforts regardless.

Speaking of Pennies and IAMBGTH, if the Penny Trinkets entered the equation, Chocolate Penny would be fun; each coin collected has a 50% chance of spawning a piece of "Candy", good for Judas "loadouts".

That reminds me, is it just me or does everyone get a skip in the Basement 1 music a bit before it gets to the metal? It seems like a weird place to start/end a loop, so I'm hoping that it's just some weird thing with my audio, because the music is fucking great

finally got the game. already knocked out about 2 hours and the only thing i've gathered is that everybody else i've seen play this game is a lot better than me. i fucking suck at it.

That's because each soundtrack is cut into several segments, so that when you enter a room with specific music, like a shop or a secret room, and then leave it, the soundtrack for that floor doesn't always resume at the very beginning. Yeah those segments don't always chain very well. A shame.

You can't expect to be amazing at a game in only 2 hours. I didn't even beat Mum for the first time until 30 hours played.

I'm sitting at 124 hours and I feel exactly the same way
I don't think it's THAT hard once you get used to it and figure out what items aremore beneficial to you than others etc.
51 hours in and I have the d20 now, so I don't think I did too bad.
I don't know if this has been brought up before, but the Blue Candle is broken as hell. It one-hits any basic enemy and one-hits any boss on the first four floors. Plus, you can shoot it once every few seconds.
I would highly recommend anybody pick it up and only replace it with the Book of Revelations, the Nail, the Crystal Ball, or whatever else that is good that I forgot.
