The Polaroid is just six different characters in the cathedral. I just beat the chest for the first time and I've yet to get to the cathedral with Samson or ???.
I musta been thinking in terms of reaching Platinum God, since beating Sheol as all characters contributes towards 100%.
I just reloaded the game to get my achievements from yesterday. Beat the chest with Cain, got ???'s Soul.

Since when has it been possible for Mom to be a colored boss?
I just had 2 boss rooms in a row in Necropolis, first one had Loki and the second one had red Mom who was superfast and owned my ass. :v:

That's champion Mom! It's possible just like all of the other bosses. There's regular Mom, red Mom, and blue Mom.
Red Mom stomps really fast and doesn't spawn enemies, and blue Mom only spawns Wrath of the Lamb monsters.
I haven't had regular mom spawn in ages. She's rarer than the rare versions now.

For me, red Mom stomped fast as shit, shot with her eye and slammed with her hand. The hand got me like every time.

Just beat red champion mom. Was a fucking stompfest but actually easier than normal mom, bacause she was mostly stomping, little to none enemies. Just a foot. Over and over.
The problem isn't the foot, But the shooting eye and hand that always get you out of nowhere.
Also, Does anyone know if you are suppose to unlock bloody lust with the achievement for killing moms heart with samson? I haven't done that and still see it in treasure rooms.
Like most of WotL items, its unlock requirements are fucked up.

I think those bosses that (almost) require you to get certain stat upgrades are absolutely bullshit. There's practically no way to kill the Mask of Infamy without speed upgrades.
The Bloat is also bullshit, because he'll hit you instantly with his eye laser as soon as the boss splash screen fades, regardless of where you come in from. You can dodge it by immediately holding a button, but if you don't know it's coming, it's going to hit you.

The Bloat is really frustrating for me, if I ever encounter it, I know I'm going to end up losing like four hearts
Blood beam attacks are the worst, None of the bosses have any warning that they're going to use them so you just have to avoid standing where they might shoot them.

Well no, most bosses do.
Monstro II grins, Ovum's sperm baby perks up and opens up his eyes, the Fallen/Krampus "sits" down and his eyes widen, and even Satan makes demonic noises and charges before he shoots.
Bloat shoots it almost on demand, though.

The mask isn't really [I]hard[/I]. It's just that it's so time consuming that you will stop [I]caring[/I] part way through.

She killed me. It sucked, a lot. I've never seen her since.
So long as you have good speed, you don't have an actual problem getting out of the Mask's way, but it just takes so long to destroy the mask part, having to only shoot the back after destroying the heart, and it don't even have a goddamn health bar!

My first encounter of that boss, i thought it was bugged because the mask didnt seem to die. I ended up dying out of sheer laziness of waiting for it to die.
Woulda been so much better if there was actually a health bar.
My past 6 runs the first item room has allways had the bomb bag. it's a curse
I know people complain about the masks all the time, but god damn. When you get into those closed rooms with hallways you should just say goodbye to your playthrough right there.

In my experience in those rooms the best thing to do is tank it and lay down some bombs or something
