I still hate how Womb and Utero feel super-easy compared to Necropolis. I have the most trouble there, if you don't count Seoul or Cathedral (never been to chest). Mostly because every other room seems to be 4 masks with hearts in corners. The second I enter the room they surround me and I *UH* go *UH* corner *UH* to corner *UH* panicking while trying to *UH* destroy the fucking hearts *UH*.

The Chest is actually surprisingly easy so long as you don't get screwed over by going against like Death and 2 Super Greeds. ??? is almost as easy as Isaac, and I'd assume you'd have gotten all the boss patterns figured out, so you wouldn't have much issue getting through.
I'm so excited. My friend gave me almost enough money (I need to cover the tiny bit that paypal took, plus a litle bit of shipping) for a Judas doll with Little Steve and a little Book of Belial.

I feel that this is an appropriate time to mention this: the Book of Belial is the third book in the Satanic Bible, which details the philosophy and beliefs of the Church of Satan. The reason it gives you damage is because the book itself is instructions on ritual.

Knife + Mulligan - it's an absolutely incredible combo. Hordes of Kamikaze flies on top of the ludicrous damage the knife already delivers.

Laser Tears + Wiggle Worm + Polyphemus = Massive fucking laser tears that instakill everything but bosses, Prayer Card supplies me with eternal hearts meaning I get an extra heart every time I beat a boss, and for some reason I keep getting like 2 soul hearts for every room I beat. I've got so many that you can't see them all, there's been no visible damage when I get hit since really early on.
Am I the only person that wants an editor? Would be cool to make your own enemies with your own artwork, your own basements, your own bosses, as well as your own rooms.
If what people say about flash being fucking horrible for this kind of stuff is true, I'm guessing this is impossible?

Would be probably possible if the game had been programmed in ActionScript 3 instead of AS2 and compiled as an Adobe AIR application.
But yeah, it's a good idea that it's being remade, Edmund never thought the game would become as popular as it is right now.
I think the most obvious thing to add is a built in thing which you can choose your items at the beginning of the game for fun so you can test out some amazing/cool/shitty/etc. combos without having to get absurdly lucky.

the ability to cheat for the cool stuff is the best way to ruin a game for yourself

There's nothing wrong with adding convenience. Better to incorporate a custom-challenge styled system into the game as an endgame reward than to have people go through a third-party program to do it.'
The game's getting rewritten from the ground up, there's little limitation to what can and cannot be planned to be incorporated into it along the way.

Can someone link me to the cheat engine? I got a new computer and do not have the patience to go through and reunlock everything.
Holy fuck, I just completed the Cathedral + Isaac bossfight without losing health. I guess getting those 10 Pretty Flies paid off.
