No offense, bro, but announcing your age + a MLP avatar = bad idea. Anyway, what does the dead dove do? Sounds like an item belonging to Eve.
Oh well, I'm gonna change the avvie soon anyway. The Dead Dove is, a very rare item, only shows up in Angel Rooms. Functionally, it's Spirit Of the Night, but painted a different colour.

Dead Dove being the same as Spirit of the Night doesn't seem all that great. It's understandable with things like the Dog Food, the Milk, the Rotten Meat and so-on, but the Spirit of the Night and the Dead Dove look completely different, so you'd think they do different things. If Dead Dove was Flying plus Homing Tears, it'd be a bit cooler, not to mention somewhat appropriate because homing pigeons.
There are WAY too many items that are either otherwise useless, or identical to others.
Proper design is important in any development venture, and it's important not to have too many items that do the same thing unless it's for important reasons.
I have a feeling that he had some sort of morality system that would unlock certain things. It's the only explanation why there is like, a holy version and an unholy version of nearly identical items.
There are WAY too many items that are either otherwise useless, or identical to others.
And what really annoys me is when Lord Of The Pit (which I think looks pretty nice), and Spirit Of The Night are in the SAME Deal With The Devil room. I mean, it's a unanimous choice, pick the better one, so, why bother WITH Lord Of The Pit in any scenario? Also, SOTN shows up in almost every single run, if it were rarer, I'd be happy with it.
-avatars-
yoink! thank you.
