I remember the first time I found Mom's Knife, I was playing as Eve and I didn't have Whore of Babylon activated.

Things took [i][U][B]TWO[/B][/u][/i] stabs to go down. I was slightly disappointed because I was told that the Knife was crazy-overpowered; that is until I got down to half a heart and things started getting utterly destroyed :v:

Find a Rosary, it increases the odds of encountering a Bible from there onward.

It's just as common as any other regular item.

You're better off just using the D6 as many times as possible. Get used to playing as Isaac a lot.

I finally figured out what is causing saves not to sync correctly.

If you have moved so.sol to another folder (for example Dropbox), and replaced it with a symbolic link; the game will just overwrite it and save it as a normal file (not referencing the symbolic link).

So I finally decided to see what the hubbub was about the Razor Blade (aside from using it with Guppy to get more items). By the time I had gotten down to Satan's room, I had about 13 regular hearts. Before Fallen spawned, I used the blade 6 times (dealing 2 heart's worth of damage each time) so I could get x2 damage each time it was used. I was dealing 64 times the amount of damage I would have done without the Razor Blade :v:

Holy shit I've never seen that kind of damage without using Fetus in a Jar or Mom's Knife.

At least I think it doubles your damage, I'm not entirely sure. If it's 1.5 or something, then I was still doing at least 10 times what I would normally do. A substantial damage buff :v:

There's bound to be, Guppy's Head is a spacebar item. I doubt that he would have Florian create a tear type if it were only going to be used in one instance. The code should be reusable fairly easy, so there shouldn't be a problem making a passive that does something similar.
For example, the code for Brimstone gets reused in the Shoop Da Whoop item. It's not unheard of for code to get repurposed :v:

Also, he already said that there would be an item that functions like Substitute from the Pokemon series:
Sacrifice some health to spawn a dummy that enemies will target instead of you.

that item would be incredibly situational, and if it only recharges every 3-6 rooms, i think it would be pretty balanced.

I think I fucked myself over. I'd just defeated mom's heart for the second time, and had practically unstoppable gear. There was a devil's room leading to the sheol above me, but having not played in quite a while I forgot that opening the big golden chest ends the game. :suicide:

He says it's "more of everything".
Things I know he added:
- New enemies (+20)
- New items (+100)
- New bosses (+10)
- New pills
- New machine
- New room types (6, I think)
- New room designs (+1200)
- New character
- Trinkets
- Alternative ending boss and cutscene
- Challenges (the only known challenge is the beat the game with Dr. Fetus)

I would assume that it would be based on firing direction.

It's the idle direction (forward) that might be a bit of a problem, though.
