I sent edmund a bunch of suggestions. He probably won't respond (understandably).
I think this eternal heart is a heart that refills every room.

I think it might be a heart that regenerates every room or something like that.
:saddowns:
I think this eternal heart is a heart that refills every room.
Considering it's super rare, that would be amazing
[t]http://puu.sh/nOzK[/t] Finally beat Satan as ???. That was hard.
Every time I'm in the caves I lose the chance of getting the no damage achievement because I end up in a room where the worm charges at me and I have nowhere to go.

Will there be an avatar editor like in plants vs zombies? I'd love one.
Aw fuck. I managed to get through the Basement levels without getting hit and didn't get the achievement. Then I realized doing a devil deal counts as damage. God fucking damn it.
So I just had a run where I picked up the Wafer as Blue Baby. I had no idea that it reduced the price of every deal with the Devil down to half a heart. I bought everything I could, Lord of the Pit, Brimstone, a bunch of damage upgrades, you name it, it only cost me half a heart. And I had the Book of Revelations, so I had way more than enough to afford whatever I wanted.
Beat Stan as Magdalene today. Flawless Victory on Mom's heart? Maybe.
Who's Stan
Holy christ how do you beat this game as Judas? It seems impossible.
Holy christ how do you beat this game as Judas? It seems impossible.
It isn't. This is how you do ANY run with any character. In the first two levels (Basement 1 and 2) If you do not get some type of good attack and/or health upgrade, Restart and try again. There is no reason to continue a run if you get shit the first two levels. Plus being good at dodging helps too. I didn't have a problem beating the game with really any of the characters I can think off hand by doing that. When I mean attack upgrade I mean either damage boost or something like Tech or Chocolate milk. I don't mean attack range attack speed etc. My favorite person to play as used to be Cain but then I started enjoying playing as ??? alot.

Little C.H.A.D, Bomb Bag, My Reflection (didn't pick it up), Poison Touch, Skeleton Key, Yum Heart. I was Blue Baby, so Little C.H.A.D and the Yum Heart were 100% worthless to me. I never had enough money to buy a 15c item in the shop, so that option was for naught. You want to know what I did? I beat Satan anyway, with approximately base stats and The Poop. I don't give a shit if I get a terrible draw on the first 2 stages or even the first 6 stages, I tough it out to push myself. To see if I can't turn a terrible run into a victory in the face of adversity. If someone can turn a crap run into a victory, then they deserve to be called "good" at the game. People who absolutely rely on good items as a crutch aren't as good as they think they are.

So i'd like for you not to act like I suck at a game cause I want to start with good items. If you're pointing the last comment towards me directly that is.
It isnt about the "accomplishment" for me. It's about fun. Who really wants to take Satan on with the default stats, tears, and poop. No fun in that. Thats why items influence the game so much.

Some like to roll with the punches and work with whatever they are given, even if it's terrible they are pushed to their limit. Getting a terrible draw like I did is an example. Some like to ride some of the fun items all the way to victory. Even if the fight is comparatively easy, it can still be fun. Blasting your way through the game with Fetus in a Jar is a fun playthrough, I am not denying that. I like both forms of fun, but more often than not, I get a powerful build through manipulation of my luck (usually with the D6 or by making a deal with the Devil when I'm already well-off for hearts). This makes the endgame pretty much guaranteed to be a victory, when this happens repeatedly, it gets boring. This is where an unlucky run can be fun, it adds more variety. And it gets the adrenaline pumping to be fighting down to the wire at the final encounter of the game. Be honest, steamrolling all the time every time isn't that much fun to do when it's happened umpteen times in a row.
I found a glitch with the poop, You can poop where you are standing, walk a little-bit so you are halfway out and halfway in of the poop. Then you can shoot out of the poop, and if anyone comes close you can walk inside and they forget you're in the room. (they stand still)
Where can I get the updates? There was at least one correct?
Where can I get the updates? There was at least one correct?
There were 2 updates: Halloween update added Sheol, Eve, Headless Horseman, Satan, Eve's starting items, several new items that are unlocked by beating Satan, and a new ending. Christmas update added Krampus and Lump of Coal. [editline]4th April 2012[/editline] You should already be up-to-date unless you disabled that for some reason.
I have Eve but not the things from the Christmas update. And I don't believe I disabled it. Unless I somehow did it on accident.
I have Eve but not the things from the Christmas update. And I don't believe I disabled it. Unless I somehow did it on accident.
Krampus is a rare appearance so it could just be you havent found him yet.
I actually did this a while back, just never got around to uploading it. [T]http://i.imgur.com/hcNRd.png[/T]
Krampus is a rare appearance so it could just be you havent found him yet.
Ah. Alright. In other news, last night I went from never beating mom to killing her heart twice and almost getting to Satan.
Great I think this game just broke my computer or something. I was playing binding of isaac full screen at 1024x768 like I normally do. I had to go do something so I turned my monitor off like I do always when I leave my computer then I came back. When turned it back on I continued playing finished the game and had no problems...Untill I closed the game out. My resolution was set to 1024x768 outside of the game which it normally doesn't do when I close out the game from full screen. So I set my resolution back figuring that's all it did when I closed it...Now my computer is stuttering and/or freezing anytime I load heavy stuff or play music/videos. So I reinstalled video drivers sound drivers flash etc and it didn't fix it. I have no viruses so that isn't the problem either. I have no idea what else I can do. I doubt anyone else has had this happen but I decided to post about it anyways. I did not have this problem prior to the event so I have no idea whats going on.

[t]http://puu.sh/o73y[/t] Never had 3 nickels spawn in one room. Also, if theres an item not on the collection in the satan room, and you make a deal that kills you, does the item appear as obtained on the collection?

But now that I think about it... why aren't there any dimes in the game? That'd be great! Also, yeah they do. [editline]5th April 2012[/editline] Floating Tumor-Isaac at half price inbound...
Also, if theres an item not on the collection in the satan room, and you make a deal that kills you, does the item appear as obtained on the collection?
It will count as collected.
Nickels. Pennies are identified by their brassy color, nickles are identified by their silver color. And Quarter and Dollar are identified as item pickups that look distinct. It'd be difficult to make a new coin drop easily identifiable unless Edmund makes it smaller than the other coins (which leaves little to no room for the ¢ symbol) or makes it a distinctly different color that is not easily associated with dimes.
