New things:
No gaps between rooms connected in a grid (or in other words, lots of 4-exit rooms connected). I'm guessing that this layout is the curse.
Blacked-out chapter name (what is being hidden?)
Rooms on multiple sides of boss room (could it be that the map shows the devil room now?)
Some kind of new room (red/black symbol)
Pinky eye trinket
Gusher that looks similar to Isaac and seems to be aggressive against enemies.
Not sure what the "few" new room types being teased are, I only see 1.

Very similar to Legend of Zelda for NES. I like that as it adds more substance to the floors without sacrificing readability on the map by scaling things down. It also makes it more challenging to navigate, since not every adjacent square must connect to the current room. Again, very much like LoZ.
It's just a name. It might be a plot spoiler if the name is revealed.
Maybe, maybe not. Usually special rooms have icons, if that is a devil room, it has no icon.
Whore of Babylon icon. Ie Curse room.
We can't tell what that trinket does.

That always happens when he has the ability to fly and is in demon form, aside from when using the Pony.
I wonder what these "Curse rooms" do? Sounds like they apply a negative effect, but other than that...

It would be nice. Flash is good for some things but can be laggy as all hell. Would be nice to see it run smoother.
