That's what i'm talking about. His range and firing speed are at 1 and he has 1 heart. Granted Judas has one heart but atleast he's powerful.
People complaining about the new items being OP, Start a game as Samson if you want a challenge :v:

Range is tolerable (Cain has poor range as well), but his rate of fire is what makes him very difficult to play as because he's unable to sustain his high damage as well as Judas or Eve.
I have an easier time as Cain picking up Bloodlust than I do as Samson picking up Luck Foot and an HP up. It's that fire-rate, man.
Samson is easy mode what are you talking about, I play as him often because by the end of most rooms I rip through everything faster then any other character.

I got ipecac as Samson and because his shots were so fast it was impossible to aim. So annoying
Ipecac should be adjusted so that it arcs really high but lands close to you.
You can actually aim it properly, but you still have to run away to not get hit by it so its balanced.
I would rather it just shot the projectiles in a straight line. It would make it more useful, although there would still be a danger of self-inflicted damage (though to probably to a lesser degree) and would remove the ability to shoot at enemies behind walls. Sounds pretty balanced to me. More balanced than some of the other new stuff at least.
Plus as it is atm, some of the faster enemies are nearly impossible to actually hit with it.

If it shot in a straight line and exploded it would be exactly the same as Dr. Fetus essentially.
Also Technology 2 plus Ipecac is pretty cool. You fire a continuous beam AND have arcing poison shots.

You need to have 1 heart.
The kicker is that the bosses spawned in there deal 1 full heart of damage regardless of floor.
For all your hard work, you're guaranteed to get a pedestal item from it, though.
