Does anyone else feel that the green enemy alternative is WAY too common?
I love re-rolling items in the devil room and getting items that add just as much HP that the item's cost will take away.
Bonus points if it has something like Damage up to go with it.
Dammit I have 86/89 secrets and I'm missing a fuckton of items, I'm stumped. I've beat cathedral with everyone TWICE, brought the polaroid to cathedral with isaac twice, I just have no idea what to do anymore.
So after playing as Samson for a while I can now see why people dislike him so much. When I first unlocked him I thought he was pretty good because he starts with a good item and I guess I was overlooking his stats. Now I just think he's pretty bad. There's no reason why his initial fire rate should be so slow. Damage I can understand since he starts with bloodlust, but his fire rate should at least be on par with Isaac. Health is a bit of an issue too, especially when taking his other poor stats into account. I'd say that two starting heart containers would be way better while still keeping balance.
Samson really needs buffs to his starting stats.
I should not feel so pitifully weak while playing as the guy based off someone who charged an army while wielding a donkey jawbone and won.
Just got to [sp]Isaac[/sp] for the first time, killed him with half a health left and then got killed by the mob of generic angel things he summons. :v:
Bob's Rotten Head got me to the Depths... then I picked up [sp]an item that makes your tears turn into those green lobbed bombs[/sp]
I ended up accidentally killing myself. :suicide:
So I unlocked Guppy's Fur Ball (I think so, at least) by getting guppy's head, dead cat and guppy's paw, it changed me...:

What does Guppy's Tail do? All is says is curse up.
I've just encountered a really strange bug where sometimes I enter rooms I get a temporary compass and then when I leave my map turns back to normal without compass.
Anyone know what item's doing that? I have a liberty cap and Fork for trinkets.
Oh my god I never realised how hard the final boss actually is now. Extremely difficult without loads and loads of OP items.
I've been coming across the Mega Fetus item way too much I just keep skipping it.

Probably liberty cap. From what I understand it gives Isaac a random buff every room, so it's possible that you're getting a buff that acts like the compass. Though I thought that the liberty cap only gave buffs that you could get from mushroom items so I'm not sure.

You get rewarded somehow if you walk over the spikes and lose HP. Soul hearts don't count.
I finally killed Mom's Heart.
It took 18 hours of gameplay and 41 deaths, but I finally fucking did it.

You need to drop your HP to 1 heart or less, you're guaranteed a pedestal item iirc.

I found the mega fetus yet again in a secret room but I took it since I wanted to beat the game as Maggy. [sp]In the final fight I kept hitting Isaac with bombs and his health went down pretty fast. In his last phase he didn't spawn any angel fetus's at all which made it very easy.[/sp]
Playing a new run as Cain and came across the mega fetus again...

He is rather reckless with his resources when playing; to the point that he makes the game harder simply because of negligence.
Easiest challenge has to be the Doctor's Revenge one. Killed Mom's heart for the first time ever because bombs. Annoying part was killing the red regenerating guys that just run at you, because for some reason, the bomb can only block them once, then they will just walk through any new bombs. Had to combine both shooting bombs, and dropping them to kill them completely when I was fighting Mom's Heart because my fire rate decreased immensely, therefore they would just regenerate before I could shoot another.

That also makes him more enjoyable to watch. For me, anyway!
