Wait, so now you have to build up your damage again if you got tech 2? That would suck if you got it near the end
I kinda wish Lemon Mishap left a trail of urine instead of just a small puddle.
With a trail, it can be used creatively to circle a bunch of enemies with it and force them to take damage instead of hoping they walk on the small yellow circle that we have now.

have any of you ever got any controllers working with isaac? i tried joytokey but can't figure out what the fuck the program is mapping my second stick to
I just learned recently that the two of hearts refills two hearts. I feel like that took me longer than it should have. I went through all these complex procedures to see if I could get it to work right, thinking the name "two of hearts" might be some kind of hint to its hidden meaning.
So I went into an arcade (the place I figured a card should most likely be used), and I made sure via the slot machine and blood bank that exactly two hearts were sitting on the ground. Two and a half actually appeared, so I picked up the half, then sought out an enemy to take half a heart off my health. This put my health at exactly two hearts (another imaginary parameter I had to satisfy). Then when I finally used the card, seeing that it refilled two of my hearts, I felt like a jackass.
So it's basically like The Lovers, except you don't have to pick up the hearts.

Actually I'm pretty sure that the two of hearts doubles your current heart count.
The other "Two of X" cards double everything, Diamonds does money, Clubs does bombs, Spades does keys.

Might have to delete the FlashAchievements.exe file, then verify your game.
Sometimes that worked for me, when achievements I should have gotten did not unlock in Steam.
Pre-DLC, of course, but it could still work.

Wrong.
It doubles your current hearts.
Let's say you have no health ceiling somehow. Say you hade 1 heart and used it. It'd give you 2. Say you had 2, you'd get 4. Say you had 4, you'd get 8 etc.
Just beat Cathedral as Cain and got "The End" main menu screen. How the hell, I even weren't saw puzzle!
Also I get to the final boss with Polaroid, it don't make fight any easy, but I got "Dad's Key" achievement after the fight.

hate to tell you but it actually doubles the amount of hearts you have
2*2=4
After getting the dead cat and prayer card early on, I managed to rack up 8 hearts from the initial one before I got to Mom. Unfortunately Mom's foot has grown tenfold and I got hit every time, killing me and sending me back to 1 hp.
Is that a bug or is Mom's foot really supposed to be that big?

Mom did receive a buff but I think there are some small bugs in the fight. It's funny because mom was already harder than the heart battle and she got such a big buff.

Tech 2 may have received a nerf, but with Brimstone it becomes a laser beam of pain and dismemberment. It killed Widow, Chub, that new Gurty-type boss, pretty much any boss in 3-4 seconds of exposure. Mom's Heart (It Lives) died in 13 seconds. [sp]Isaac died in 15.[/sp]
why am i not unlocking items
it seems that when i should unlock an item it never shows up and i never see the "YOU UNLOCKED x!" screen
