If you keep the white flies that circle poop alive and clear the enemies, you can destroy the poop, run out and re-do the room and it can spawn more items. It's an utter blessing if they're in a boss room, especially a really easy one like Gemini or Steven.

Just an FYI, if you guys need a no damage achievement, the alternates work, and going through the curse of labyrinth works as well. I know this cause I went through the necropolis labyrinth to get it :v:
Man, I was just reading about the trinkets on the wiki... A lot of them really suck because they only have an effect when you get down to half a heart. So once you reach the womb, there's a good chance they become completely useless.
And apparently nobody has any idea what the matchstick does.

I have never seen any effect with the matchstick, but I'm thinking it either has to do with campfires or explosives. Maybe it has no effect because it's glitched?

What's even sillier with not entering shops is that he could have had one of 5 really fortunate encounters:
Extinguish the fire for it to yield an item - a coin in particular.
Encounter with Greed - drops assorted coins or Steam Sale.
Encounter with Super Greed - drops assorted coins, Quarter, or an Eternal Heart.
Saw a 2 of Diamonds in the shop for 5 cents (or 3 if it were on sale) - doubles his current coin amount.
Saw the Quarter in the shop for 15 cents (or 7 if it were on sale).
Not like he was hurting for keys; for someone who wanted to use Money=Power to its maximum potential, he's not very thorough when attempting to find money (or anything, for that matter).

I've heard people say that it reveals some of the map. I've yet to encounter a Matchstick and be able to use it. The only time I saw one was when I had the Tick, so I couldn't switch to it.
I admit it, I pick up IPEPAC when I see it.
I dunno, I just feel like it's easy to aim. Also, avoid rocks with it.

Holy shit.
I farmed the living fuck out of the prayer card here, and gained 5 new hearts. I'm 3 hearts over the max amount.
I have lust for blood, the book belial and a ton of damage upgrades (jesus juice, holy grail, pentagram, tough love) and cancer
After killing a two or three enemies and activating the book of belial my tears become bigger than me
add dead dove to that, I'm unstoppable

It's absolutely horrid if you have My Reflection or 3 Dollar Bill because you will be sending explosives back into your face. The same applies for Fetus in a Jar interacting with those 2; Mega Fetus is not affected by the boomerang effect.
And it's impossible to fire over indestructible rocks with IPECAC, it makes fighting Wrath and Super Wrath a royal pain in the ass, especially if you have flight because you need to manually line yourself up with the open avenues.

It makes you lob explosive shots through the air. Its usefulness will either be godly-amazing or utterly useless, depending on the enemies you're fighting and your own mobility. If you have enemies that chase you around, your shots will generally shoot right over their heads, and it'll be nearly impossible to harm them.
Bombs can be a good alternative, but nobody wants to waste bombs on common enemies, unless you have a ton of them.
