Don't ever take Dead Cat unless you're completely confident with your ability to use it to its maximum potential. There is a difficult-to-execute exploit with it that allows skilled players to farm items from bosses, at the cost of a life and having to refight the boss with only 1 heart (and zero soul hearts). It's a very risky exploit because of this.
Otherwise you're going to shoot yourself in the foot and regret it, like you did.

I got the Polaroid completely by accident last run.
And I haven't even beaten the final boss with all of the characters, yet somehow I have the Polaroid achievement. Also I've found the Dads Key item (it sucks).

Beat Mom's Heart for my third time today. My ability to succeed relies on luck of item drops. Got technology 2 with tons of damage bonuses and the ability to fly, and with about 8 heart containers: I really couldn't lose.
I unlocked most of the challenges but for some reason I just have few achievements on steam. uhmm.

I've just done 3 challenge runs which ended after the Mom fight (with the 1st ending, where the bible kills her, then the credits starts to roll which I can't skip,) and did not yield me any achievement nor item.
Fuck this is annoying.
I beat the game as Isaac, got the achievement for the D20, but does it randomly appear in the levels, or does it replace the D6?

Just retried that shotgun spider challenge. First I got the knuckles that occasionally turn your tears into teeth. Then I got the sacred heart that makes your shots huge and homing. [I]Then[/I] I got that board that makes your shots pass through things. And finally to wrap it all up I got that eye trinket that occasionally makes your shots poisonous. So I had shot four homing shots at a time that would go through things and would sometimes be teeth/poisonous.
Needless to say I beat Satan again.

Yeah, that's an entire half of the level I wouldn't have been able to explore had I not had The Moon/discovered that secret room.
Also turns out Ipecac is epic with homing shots.
I learned how bad of a mistake it is to pick up Technology 2 on Depths XL.
My damage plummeted, and this was after I had a lot of high-damage stats in my favor, Mom's Knife, Bloody Lust, and Whore of Babylon included.
Still managed to beat the tar out of the final boss, but it took way longer than it should have, I had a completely overpowered build until Technology 2 was picked up. To add insult to injury, the laser did nothing, it was cosmetic (aside from dropping my damage to piss-poor values).
i thought [sp]bringing isaac the polaroid killed him instantly?[/sp] whatever at least my fucking menu finally changed off of golden god. Now to play the game again.
I still have 2 Gamekids and 2 Hourglasses in my collection. Does anyone know how I could go about fixing it?
