Also, homing IPECAC shots is bloody amazing.
The only problem I had was due to a bug - the Mom fight.
I don't want my explosions to track her foot when her foot isn't in the field or track her eyes/fat when the doors are closed. It's a simple additional conditional statement that checks if a target has a particular flag set or not (the flag also has to be created, it's not hard considering the groundwork for it is already made, as evidenced by collision/non-collision depending on if the enemy is in the field) what's so hard about fixing that shit, Florian?
The same happens on Mom's Heart, It Lives, Satan, and Daddy Long Legs. It is one of the primary reasons that I avoid homing effects whenever possible, it's just far more disastrous when used in conjunction with IPECAC or Fetus in a Jar -- with regular tears, it is damage that doesn't connect.
And the self-aiming familiars attack enemies like that too, regardless if it's possible for them to damage the enemy. Dead Bird, Meat Boy, Isaac's Body (Pinking Shears), Demon Baby, Kamikaze Flies, and I'm not sure if Daddy's Love does that since I've yet to encounter it. They all try to attack the stationary turrets, they latch onto masks instead of attacking the hearts, they'll try to attack the moving spikes, and whatever I'm forgetting. Homing tears from Isaac or Little Steven will try to home into those invuln enemies as well.
Yes, I'm mad. More at how this bug has gone unfixed since the game was first released than I am with the bug taking out half of my heath on a fight that should have been an absolute cakewalk.

You don't need the D6 anymore. Just pop that card in a Devil Room and give him yo money. I got the Mark of the Beast for a paltry 5 cents.
Step aside, Isaac. Cain is the go-to guy for abusing that trick to Hell and back.

They both fire simultaneously. But because you have to watch out of running into your ipecac bombs, you barely use the laser at all.
That technology 2 is really damn useful.
I really hate the mask of inafamy boss. I just rage quit because it was taking way too long to kill. it's extremely boring chasing around a mask that doesn't even shoot

That was me, and I'm pretty sure I said technology 1, because it replaces default tears. Also, it would work well with Cain, because his technology 2 doesn't shoot tears from his eye (get it? the eye patch?).
I have Binding of Issac and I want to get WotL, but I still haven't beaten Mom's heart. Will adding the expansion make it harder, should I wait until after I beat her? I have Cain and Magdelene, and a large amount of stuff found, if it matters.
The Bloody Penny trinket is so deliciously imba if you find an arcade.
I used the Blood Donation Machine and it gave me the IV Bag. I used the IV Bag and managed to jump from 3 to 99 cents in less than 2 minutes of spamming the spacebar (you can get 2 uses if you use the second time during the invuln flash after the first), collecting the money, and then picking up the free hearts.

You'll probably enjoy it more if you wait a while. The game gets harder and it's still pretty buggy

So Daddy Long Leg's is Isaacs actual dad only horrifically mutilated right? The family photo, he has about the same simple skin color, Daddy's Love has that bosses foot helping you the entire time, only refusing to step on boss Isaac, and there's a few other dad items (like the keys) in the game.
I don't really like it being harder, honestly. I was just hoping it'd be alternate.
Finally beat mom after all these months (have barely played though).
Technology 1 made it a pretty easy fight. So here I come whatever hellish things awaits me past the womb.
Jesus, the fight against [sp]???[/sp] was so...weird.
He was a defensive wall, I shoved all 20 of my bombs up his ass and I still had to bombard him with a torrent of tears before he went down. Don't get me started on how seemingly-random the homing tears he fires are, couple that with the guardian angels he spawns relentlessly.
I had to pop my full health pill just because there was so much shit going on.

Well, just after posting this I managed to beat it, and I unlocked Eve, so I think I might buy the expansion. The main reason I was never able to beat it was because I'd get shitty items, so now that I had a good run without any real problems I think I'm ready. Thanks, though.
