I've already done this kind of run pre-WotL, but the addition of the Cathedral and new elements in the game might spice that thing up for me.
That and nine lives are the only 2 challenges remaining before I have nothing left to do but unlock Guppy's hairball and then simply collect all of the items. If there's a secret for collecting all of the trinkets, then I'll be on the lookout for the rest of those too. I can't tell because the notifications are still buggy for me.

I wish I could play that challenge but it locked itself again after the game updated v1.15

That's not a problem once you have the boss patterns memorized.
Beating the final boss in the Cathedral, however...it's mostly random attacks that he's going to throw at you, so no amount of muscle memory will save you, it's all in your reaction speed and how you respond.

I wish this game didn't have a hard cap on shot power or fire rate. If the items I randomly find give me the ability to one-shot bosses, but that's it, that should be my right. And if I get enough tears-up items to fire like a gatling gun, I should be allowed to have that too.

Just unlocked [sp]???[/sp] and my first run with him got me to beat [sp]Issac[/sp]. Funny thing is that I still can't fucking get Samson out of the Caves yet my first run with the hardest character gets me to the end.
I still have yet to get to Sheol, though.
Is the DLC supposed to give you a crap load of good items in a single run-through?

So as most of you have seen, wrath of the lamb launched with a few issues :). we were able to fix all game breaking bugs within the 1st 24 hours and most of the minor bugs in the 4 days of launch.
without spoiling anything for those who*aren’t*amazingly hardcore (around .3% of isaac users) there was an additional secret added a day before launch that got cut because it caused too many issues, this secret wasnt completely removed and part of it got mysteriously attached to another… and*basically*caused a new secret that wasnt really intended :). some of you know what im talking about…
anyway, after realizing this we*thought*we might as well do a content update with the last minute secret added as intended.. but where is the fun in that seeing as the fun has been spoiled?*

How are you guys having all these issues with samson? He's much better than Maggie. I beat [sp]Isaac[/sp] with him day 2 and by day 3 I was done with all the characters. Okay, maybe the incredible spawn rate of mega fetus and IPECAC back then kind of helped with that, but my first wrath of the lamb run with Isaac with none of the new unlocks went smoothly and I beat it on the first time.
I hope I can go back to my dad's PC and delete flaschievement though because now I'm on the other PC and I just won't get my cheevos. Not that it matters but right now I have nothing to backup my affirmations. I didn't 100% the game because for some reason I never get the ank nor the polaroid.
Either way I made it mainly out of luck, dunno how well I'm gonna do if at all now that all of this has been patched, though :v:

also the room with the spikes on the door is almost always worth a try, especially as eve. Getting a devil room early in the game is always great, and a guppy's paw even moreso when you're shooting for a permanent whore of babylone.

Curse rooms are (amost) always good, I got Sacred Heart on Basement 1 two times and Spirit of the Night once :V Sacred Heart is probably my favorite WotL item, Homing Shots are so powerful and slower shot speed isn't bad
