I almost changed my mind about it after thinking I might have been wrong and picked it up again.
Then I blew myself up my keyboard messed up and I ran straight into a bomb.
I had recently unlocked Samson, and decided to do a run with him.
First door I enter in the basement had the mulligans with bombs in their head and they spawned right next to some fire by the door.
They all blew up on me, and I died before I even got a chance to move.
Welp.

I hope Edmund never nerfs Bloody Penny, no matter how much it deserves a bit of a nerf; having 2 independent and random events is required just to try it, there's no guarantee of it to work out as the Bloody Penny also needs to cooperate. I've found this to be a rarer encounter than Mega Fetus. And we all know how Mega Fetus bends the game over on the kitchen counter like it's nothing.

You can't fire it with a rock in front of you, or that's a heart gone.
Depending if you have range upgrades, faster enemies [i]will[/i] end you.
Already had 3 Dollar Bill/Mirror Shot? Ipecac will kill you.
You want a perk for Ipecac? Free tries at finding both secret rooms, that's it.
For some reason I just can't beat the game with Eve anymore. I've done the new route with everyone but her. I seem to just be having unusually bad luck with the items.

Damage multipliers did get a bit of a nerf with WotL v1.15
Since Eve primarily operates on damage multipliers, she and Samson both got hit kinda hard. If memory serves well, the multiplier used to be at 1.5, now I think it's lowered to about 1.25, I haven't run any tests in order to calculate the exact figures with 1.15.

I've got 3 secrets left but I only know what 2 of them are: Guppys Hairball and Platinum God. I've already beaten the final chapter with each character, I beat Satan with Samson, I had Golden God + Lump of Coal pre-WotL, I've done all of the challenges, and I've done all the no-damage runs. What could be missing?
Fuck yes. The bad trip pill is now my favourite pill.

I used the very strategic maneuver of using that pill twice to regain all my health. Once in the Womb II and once on [sp]Isaac[/sp] when it was at 1/6 health.
Did I also mention that this was with samson?
Got Mom's Knife for the first time and... got horrible item synergy as a result:

Tech 2 + Mom's Knife + Epic Fetus do not stack well, I was amazed I got through 9 Deaths at all.

Actually, I'm pretty sure that items are always referred to as their name and bosses are always referred to as "something x". I have yet to fight Daddy Long Legs at all, aside from a surprise encounter in Cathedral, so maybe that's it. Now how the hell do I unlock it?

Had a bunch of stat boosting items like halo, lump of coal, stigmata, pentagram, cancer, toothpicks, squeezy, magic 8 ball, the mark, growth hormones, the belt, and a bunch of pretty flies, meat cube, fate, skatole, infestation, mulligan, ouija board, tear up pills, health up items, a shitton of soul hearts and technology and technology 2. I also had some other items that became useless due to technology. I might be forgetting some items, but I had an awesome run.
Bob's head is really powerful. I killed both Hollows instantly with it, and it takes out a decent chunk of health for other bosses.

Tech 2 with max damage and Brimstone are all you need. That combo killed the final boss in 15 seconds for me.

Just to add, in that situation you can't even blow a way out through the bottom.
That exact same thing happened to me, and no amount of missiles from Epic Fetus could ever blow another hole.
